Niko returned her salute with all the formality and pomp of a real military officer; he practiced in the mirror all the time. "So long kid, I'll miss you."
Afterward he turned to Reza and sized her up from top to bottom. "Well then. Maybe we'd better both go our separate ways now that she's gone. I have a class in a little while." And by a little while, he meant thirty minutes. Niko gathered up his belongings and stuffed them in his coat.

"Yeah, I guess." Reza sighed and waved at Nico. "See ya later, Nico. I hope you don't make an idiot of yourself anymore. At least not for now. Bye."

Niko cleared his throat and hugged his computer under his arm. With his free arm he reached down and mussed up her hair as he walked by. Well, now it was off to Psychology, one of his most political and least favorite classes of all time.
A few minutes of walking and he reached the class. Sitting down in the seat behind his good friend Cydric, he awaited the teacher. For Niko, time just crawled from there.
Note: I probably won't do this often, but whenever I make a reference to time like that, it means my character will be dormant until the timeline goes ahead to later on. I just did it because it seems like that was what was about to happen anyway.

Reza growled in Nico's direction. She slapped her head with both hands and smoothed her hair down again. "Idiot. I actuallly brushed it this morning." She said. She looekd around for something to do before she headed home. There wasn't anything, so she strolled along and tried to find someplace with books she could read for the time being.

Later that day....
--
Corellia and Borelias were pretty much sister planets, and it only took about forty-five minutes to get through the checkpoints and hitch a ride, and even after that it was only an hour. Abbi, alone on the flight, busied herself by reading the latest fiction book bought yesterday, curled up in a seat on the transport. A fat guy who barely fit in the seat sat next her, wearing a loud, overbearing tropical shirt and shorts, showing off his hairy, meaty legs. He had balding, black hair and a rather large pair of glasses that magnified his eyes three time their normal size. She tried to concentrate on her book, and succeeded for the first thirty minutes or so when there was a noise that closely resembled a clash between and earthquake and a collapsing building. When the smell hit her, she knew.
She tried really hard not to wrinkle her nose at this, and since it would be rude to pull her shirt over her nose, she suffered on in complete silence. The man’s fart literally burned he inside her nose, and she breathed in short, quick breaths, holding it for as long as possible.
The other passengers were looking for the source of the smell, and Abbi could very well guess that her tearing eyes had given it away. The man hardly seemed to notice: he had thrown his head back, snoring in his own fumes. She closed her eyes tight and pressed her nose literally into her book, hoping the smell of freshly-printed paper would somehow cover the stench of the sewer the man must’ve crawled out of.
If I told HK this, he SO would not believe me…
She put her nose under her shirt next, waving a hand in the air to dissipate the fumes. “Oh my God,” she muttered to herself. There was another one of those ground-shaking vibrations, and Abbi nimbly jumped over the man’s beefy legs and retreated further back into the ship.
She just hoped the man didn’t have an accident in his pants. He’d give an army of skunks a run for their territory.
“Throw me on a cargo ship to Corellia. I can take that. Pack clothes that I don’t like. Can take that too. Only let me take one book. Sure! Put me next to a farting freak, and I’m gonna give you loads of hell when I get back…” And so she kept mumbling this as she stomped into the last row. Nobody sat there, and she soon understood why, because as soon as she sat there, a loud noise from behind startled her. She glanced behind her, but it was all metal wall. The engine. Just perfect.
“Just kill me now and be done with it,” she muttered, and flipped furiously through her book to find her lost page.

Housten slammed the door shut behind him, racing up the stairs. He threw the mail on the bed and turned his computer on, waiting impatiently for it to boot up. Once done, he logged onto MSN and spotted HK right away.
What's up? BRB.
He ran back down to the kitchen and threw a sandwich together: ham and some sliced cheese on your standard Wonder bread. He devoured half of it before he was back upstairs and on the computer. Chewing slowly, he waited for HK to say something.

Deej was sitting at the computer now...Ellie had convinced him to take the speeder, even though he knew he would never use it, but his mother had found out and pushed for him to do it, so he just gave in and did it. He wasn't really talking to anyone, but suddenly Housten/RJ came on.
Oh nothing much...how are you? he asked

Once he was back in his room, Niko made sure to close his door all the way and lock it. He booted up his computer and while he was waiting, tossed off his shoes. He took off his prescription goggles and felt relief from the cool air blowing against where the straps had been all day.
Finally, his net was up. He logged into his messenger first, then went to his favorite website for online fiction. While he was scrolling down the list of romance fics he noticed the letter 'M' and the word 'Lemon' in the same general vicinity. "Ooohh..." he said to himself "A new story."

Housten saw that Niko was on, so he dragged him into the convo.
Not much, HK. How're you And hey Niko!
He finished his sandwich and chased it down with a bottle of water.

Deej saw that RJ had now brought Niko into the convo...he wondered if he knew if Abbi had left or not yet.
I am very good....and hey there Niko. Know how Abbi is? he typed

Niko was about to just respond by saying hi, but he realized upon further inspection that the story he was about to click on was a yaoi novel which contained, in graphic detail by the way, bondage and erotic choking. RJ, remind me to put you at the top of my Life Day gift list.
Oh hey guys, I'm doing okay. "Considering how close I came." I saw Abbi earlier today, poor girl's mother called her up in the middle of our lunch and said her flight plan changed at the last minute.

Deej raised an eyebrow...so she was already on her way to Corellia. Very interesting...so now they'd be Abbi-less for awhile, that was one more person gone from MSN. Hmmm I see...so she's already on her way to Corellia? Wow, how are we going to get by without Abbi? he joked

Hey, no worries. You've all got me and my witty, sometimes awkward comments to keep you company. Not to mention Reza's still around. She's SO well-behaved. Is she an angel? Lol.
Heh, yeah right. An angel. The very idea. Calling a girl an angel is something only poor little boys do when they see pretty girls that happen to be older than them. Niko re-evaluated the search terms on the fiction website and pressed the search button again. "Note to self." he said "Look closely this time. RJ isn't always going to be around."

Housten shook his head. "Well, she's gone again. That girl never sticks around."
He leaned over his keyboard and began to type.
Terrorcita? Heck no, she's not an angel. Are you drunk, Niko?

Nope, not drunk. But you're right about her, crazy little thing that she is.
Man, there didn't seem to be any new romance fics aside from the seriously homo-erotic ones he had narrowly avoided. Why couldn't the Empire take charge of something like this for once? Fan fiction is MUCH more important than centralizing the economy and forcing the uneducated masses to work in the mines.
