Deej sighed...sometimes, they all could get a bit too paranoid...but sometimes, these sorts of things were on par...alot of bad things had happened that they had, in a sense, "felt" before. I see....wow. Maybe its just whats going on with the Republic and Empire and whatever right now? Deej suggested

Niko finally rolled out of bed and fell face first onto the carpet. BLAT! "Agh, damn it!!" As luck would have it, his fingers hooked onto his wristwatch and dragged his phone down with him. He heard it ringing and already a little ticked off pressed the answer button.
"Hello?"

Niko groaned, still reeling from the tremendous hit he had taken to his face. He rolled onto his back and twirled himself into his blankets. "Abbi who?" he replied.

Abbi raised her eyebrows, and noticed her webcam had turned on. Deej and the others could see her. "The Abbi you've known for months?" she asked. "Hey, are you sick or something? You don't sound right."

Niko suddenly woke up just a little more and remembered. "Oh, no I'm fine." he rubbed his nose and laid back "I was just having another hero dream." It was then that suddenly the reality dawned on him. He was Niko Rob'n all right, but the scrawny six foot two, hundred-seventy pound one.
Abbi and he had been going to the same school ever since he had been sent away. His mother claimed that it was to get away from the unrest on Naboo, but Niko suspected she just wanted to be rid of him now that she had taken everything in the divorce. All she did was trade one Imperial world for another one and here he was all alone.

Abbi could hear the falling note in his voice, and she knew what he was feeling. Realizing he wasn't the hero, and he wasn't there.
Life's too short. We have to do something meaningful. Who can blame him if he dreams of it? Just means he wants it more than I do.
"Yeah?" she asked, suddenly somber at the thought. "Save a hot princess this time, hero?"

Knowing the kind of reaction he might get from revealing the entire description, Niko stopped himself from answering. "Nope. This one's kind of hard to explain." he said and thought for a second "Let's just leave it at little orphan girl."
He smiled a little at her calling him hero, though. Even if he wasn't one, Abbi was one of those people who could make the simplest things sound meaningful.
"Uh so. Abbi." he continued "What's, y'know, up with you this fine morning?"

Alright. Deej typed, watching the webcam, but the dog ran in and distracted him for a moment

Sister Ethea stood on stage in front of everyone. "We have come to bury our good friend...Sister Maureen! Maureen died of natural causes, and our Lord has welcomed her into His Home...lets all SING NOW!" she yelled
"CAN I GET AN AMEND IN MY GOD'S HOUSE?!"

Abbi bit her lip, unsure of how she could explain. The pause lasted a few more seconds than longer, and she finally said, "I got some bad news last night. My parents are sending me to Corellia for a few weeks. No reason, no explanation. I, uh, was sorta wondering if you might have any insight on that. Or advice."

Suddenly, the huge knock to the face didn't feel so bad. Abbi needed advice, which brought automatic joy to Niko anytime he was required.
Her parents were sending her off-world? For no apparent reason? The first thing to come to mind was that they had to have some reason, even a trip between neighboring planets was not something you wasted money for. Something of importance was happening, and in this day and age when stuff like that happened it made Niko worry.
Not wanting to transmit unnecessary worry to his friend, however, Niko just answered calmly. "I'm sure they wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't important." he told her "I'm sure you'll be okay and everything. And if you need company, I'll check for your signal every second of the day so we can talk. If you want."

Abbi laughed quietly, conscious of her parents downstairs. "Thanks, Niko. Really, thanks." With one hand, she began to type in a music request. Some good, old fashioned movie soundtracks could do the trick. "But I don't think you can do that and stay in class at the same time," she added jokingly. "I don't know when I'm coming back."

Niko laughed at his own comment. Of course he couldn't keep that promise, he was a student of electronics and engineering. But he knew he'd do his damnedest to keep in touch with her every second outside of class.
"Well, don't worry." he said in response to her last comment "I can go without you gracing my presence for a while. It'll be tough, but we all make sacrifices."

Abbi's head tilted to the side almost reflexively. "Aw, are you sure?" she asked with mock-concern.
She glanced up at the webcam and turned it off. Crappy thing was going to turn on one day when she didn't want it and she'd be screwed. "M'kay, I need to go get some breakfast," she said. "I'm leaving tomorrow, so do you want to hang out today?"

"It'll be tough, like I said. But yeah, we'll hang out later." he said, feeling his fatigue overtake him again "I'll talk with you later on, Ab." He lay there and got comfortable, knowing that his phone would shut off after Abbi hung up her end. Just as his eyes began to roll into the back of his head, he thought he could hear his good friend's response...
