So... anyone that knows me, knows that when it comes to fics, I'm always getting these big ideas and planning everything out in my head, writing the first chapter (sometimes even 2!) and then moving on. I guess it's my immature nature as I have a very short attention span and RP's tend to suit me more. But nevertheless I'm still having these ideas, and i would really like to see them to fruition. Whether I do or not is a different story, but, here are a few things which if you're lucky, might be coming your way soon!
Untitled Fic
Yep, untitled, but still the biggest of my ideas. I have spoke to a few of you about this before, its basically one of those stories with lots of characters that all end up crossing each others paths. It is set primarily in Vancouver (shocker) and it is a little unbelievable in terms of the plot but in terms of the phsics etc it is pretty grounded, No super powers, no supernatural elements whatsoever.
I'm also planning to have each chapter be from the point of view of one character (third person POV) just like the Song of Fire and Ice novels. Speaking of Game of Thrones...
Game of Thrones Mini-Fics and Standalones
Yeah Im nowhere near bold enough to try and write a full on Game of Thrones fic. If a show could ever be compared to SDT, it would be this show. The amount of characters is just immense! But I am open to doing some mini fics etc. Some canonical and some not.
My favourite character is Danaerys, so I would probably like to tackle something involving her. I also like Tyrion, but it would be hard to write a character like that and do him justice. Other favourites I have are Jamie, Osha, Davos, Brienne, Gendry, Bronn, Loras and Sam, so anything involving any of them I would be up for.
Final Fantasy 13
Im not sure why but I always think about writing a fic for FFXIII, in the same way I mentionned for the first idea, with the 6 main protagonists being the POV characters. The game proved much more popular with people who were not FF fans, like myself, as those who were felt it was too much of a departure from the style of the previous games. Anyways, moving on...
Li Storm backstory mini-fic, Horizon completion, other SDT spinoff mini fics
Yeah, pretty much self explanatory. With a 13 year time gap there is plenty of room for extra stories to be created that tie in with the RP. I think a few people like the idea of doing these.
And... that it
Perhaps none of these will ever see the light of day... but who knows.
