Miss Haltzilakas
I nodded. "I agree with Han, here. I won't stop anyone from resigning in the future but right now, we may need your help. The second team we sent out is likely still after Mona, but we really need to find the first team and get them back here safely. They have fallen out of contact, which doesn't look good." I said, glancing from Winter to Han.
"Oh dear, I say we're all doomed!" C-3PO shouted.
R2 tweedled some kind of response.
"R2, I am afraid that I see no hope this time!!!" C-3PO argued.
Caitlin
Before any of us could answer Memah's question, though she probably knew the answer, a man named Xandyrr Foxx walked in. He seemed to be concerned, and Memah looked like she was getting more concerned as he spoke.
I nodded after she motioned to me. I looked at him. "Yes, I'm a doctor...is there something you need?"

Han
"Yeah, but you've never been an optimist." I said in response to Threepio. Chewbacca growled in agreement.
Winter sighed. "I'm sorry Han but without established contact all that we can do is wait."
There was a long pause. "Look's like the droid might be right this time..."
Xandyr
I was in luck. I let myself smile again. I think Memah got the wrong impression. She seemed to think something was wrong with me. In fact nothing was wrong with me. I was here on behalf of Mara, who was still known to everyone but Jaskia Paine and I as Janet. Still we couldn't risk bringing her here, just incase.
"Yes... yes there is." I turning to face her. The others were looking at me. "Actually... could we discuss this somewhere a little more... you know... private?"

I nodded. "Sure...lets go upstairs, if Memah doesn't mind," I said, looking to the owner of the cantina. She didn't seem to object.
We walked upstairs, and into one of the spare rooms, though right now it didn't necessarily matter as all of her residents seemed to be off Coruscant.
Once I knew that we were safely out of hearing range, I looked at Xandyrr again. "So, what is wrong?" I asked.
Miss Haltzilakas
I nodded. "Unfortunately, we may just have to hope for the best," I said after Winter's statement. "The only problem is that we are even lucky to be in here. I wouldn't be surprised if Sora locks us out of here soon, as well."
"Oh dear, Miss Haltzilakas has a point! What if he has R2 and I scrapped for parts?!" C-3PO exclaimed in fear.

Han
"I wish I could comfort you Threepio but with the way Sora has been acting I wouldn't be surprised..."
I stood for a moment. "Alright, if all we can do is wait I can at least get my room sorted for the night. I'm going to head down to the cantina to ask Memah about it. Chewie, Goldenrod, Artoo - you stay here with Winter, and help her out however you can. Renee you're welcome to come along if you like."
Xandyr
"Well, it's actually not about me." I said, "I'm here about M-... about my girlfreind, Janet. I think she might be pregnant. And I know what you're thinking, why didn't she just go to the doctors herself. Well see she doesn't want to make a fuss, but I really believe that she is pregnant. If your free could you maybe come a check up on her, and give us the verdict?"

Miss Haltzilakas
"Oh, Captain Solo, you are leaving us in the face of danger!!" Threepio exclaimed.
R2 tweedled something again.
"Hm, R2, perhaps you are right...if Miss Winter is still a security member, technically, and we are with her, we would have no reason to be taken away..." Threepio said thoughtfully after what R2 had told him. He looked to Han. "Captain Solo, I have decided that it is safer if Artoo and I stay here!"
"I'll head with you to the cantina, Han," I said, looking at him as well. "I highly doubt anyone will want me in here."
We headed for the exit, but before we could get out, a Security Officer approached us. "Miss Haltzilakas, Han, I'm really sorry, but you aren't allowed in here." he said.
"Don't worry, we were just leaving." I told the man.
"I...I may have to run you in anyway for just coming in here, or at least put it on your re-" he began.
"Thats enough." a voice said.
I turned around to see none other than Admiral Ackbar approaching. "These two were just leaving, but they were briefly allowed in here under my authority. I highly doubt you will see them again, so you do not need to take action."
"Uhh...sure, Admiral, sure." the officer said, immediately walking off.
"Admiral Ackbar," I said in surprise. "What are you doing here?"
As we walked out of HQ, he shook his head. "I have heard of Sora's new position and actions...unfortunately, he outranks me now, so that was the least I could do. I probably won't be an admiral much longer anyway. I feel foolish for not establishing myself higher in the NR, then perhaps I could have stopped this, but I truly was and still am getting too old for this. However, old or not, I won't stand for this."
"Thank you," I said softly with a nod. "Lets get to the Soft Heart."
"I'm coming with you," Ackbar said. "I'm not going to be able to lead all of you into some kind of war, certainly not, but I am not staying here."
Caitlin
I nodded. It would probably be best to do something to get my mind slightly off Sora for a little while, anyway. "Sure...things have been a little hectic but this shouldn't take long, and I know you need this news as soon as possible. Lets go."
We headed back downstairs, and I looked to everyone else. "I'll be back shortly," I promised.
With that, I followed Xandyrr out.

Selas leaned on the counter, thinking deep thoughts. He halfheartedly listened to the chatter of the others, the sound of their voices almost a continuous drone in the background. It was amazing how one person could cause so much damage in such a short amount of time. One woman... the downfall of the Republic.
"We can turn this around," Selas said, looking up. "There's more of us than there is on his side. With careful planning... wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. And we're not all here yet."
"Who isn't?" Dawn asked.
"The rest of the Resistance," Selas replied, crossing his arms.
"Resistance..." Dawn said, listening to how it sounded. "I like it. Means we're gonna get something done. That's right up my alley."
"I thought you might go along with it," Selas said.

Duskbringer
"Resistance?" I repeated. It sounded weird to say, but its basically what we were right now...we were resisting Sora's new orders. "I do like the sound of getting something done, though. I don't want to just sit around here."
"But how? What can we possibly do? And who else is coming?" Nack asked.
"Well, I imagine that there are more displeased with this than we may know...we may be his family, and crew, but we're not the only people he knew...if I had to guess, I'd say there are many more friends of Sora that have been angered like this." Lynn pointed out.
"And also remember, two of those friend bodies were the ones he fired....I doubt their bodies will stand for this act." Kossk said, staring out a window in thought.

"Kossk, a word outside if I may?" Selas asked.
The big lizard nodded and followed him outside, where the sun was barely peeking through the clouds. "Much like my own heart right now," Selas said, looking up. "Dark and gloomy, and yet a beacon of hope shines through."
He turned and looked directly at Kossk. "I didn't want the others to hear about this because it concerns the higher powers. I spoke with Anziar earlier, or rather he spoke with me. He thinks that Sora is going to keep going down this path no matter how much we reason with words. I hate to say it, but I agree with him. That means we're going to have to switch our tactics. Han is indeed on his way, along with Miss H and someone else I can't quite sense the identity of. I'm thinking up a plan, and if everyone agrees with it, we should move as fast as possible. Big changes are coming fast, my scaly friend, and we're going to be on the run for a long time, I fear."
Selas looked down the street in the direction of the spaceport. "What I want to know is: are you in?"

I moved to look at the large city before me, feeling the wind hit my face. Indeed, Selas was correct...everything was shifting. Our bodies' lives were being thrown into something much different. The Captain's actions had changed things dramatically.
"I spoke to Cyan's body much earlier...he feared the same thing, and now the fears have become reality." I told Selas. "Our bodies and souls have many new tasks ahead of us..there is no hope for the Captain's body right now. He is not completely lost, but now, I can feel that he will not change his decision. There is no point in continuing to try to reason with his body."
"Our bodies know the rules set up by the three gods well....the rules that their minds are bound by, some that they have broken recently. However, the rules they have broken have been smaller ones...their bodies cannot step in on a situation of this scale. We cannot expect much help from them...but we must rally the bodies around us. The Captain's power may be growing, but we will have many bodies to stand with us....and to answer your question, yes, I will be one of those bodies." I finished.

Sem
Sem's face contorted in pain again. "You really are an idiot aren't you Mona. Thinking you can actually make my life worse than it is." She growled and focused on the throbbing arcs of electricity that carried the hurt. Behind them she could feel t he force. Behind the anger and pain it was all there, still masked over by a veil from the deathsticks, but as long as she got angry enough, not even that veil would stop the bitch from having her hearth ripped out of her chest.

Li
I couldn't deal with all this negativity anymore. "Sem, for kriffs sake just snap out of it! Your life hasn't been easy, but not by a long shot, but damn a little optimism wouldn't go to waste!"
I turned back to Mona.
"Mona just get to the point, I'm sure you have other things to do. What about that other prisoner you dragged in? Are they Jedi also?"
Han
We enterred the cantina. There were quite a lot of people here. "Did I miss something? You're all sitting here like someone died. Wait... no-one died did they?"
"Relax Solo." Memah Roothes said, "Have a seat." She peered behind me. "Oh, Miss H. Admiral Ackbar. Haven't seen you two in here before, but hey under the circumstances I'm not surprised. This is where people come for a shoulder to lean on. They don't call us the Soft Heart for nothing!"
"You're tellin' me!" I scoffed, "Gimme the usual would you, Memah?"
"Sure." She said as she prepared the drink, "So... you just here for a drink?"
"Partly. I was wondering if I could borrow a bunk for a few nights? Sora has confiscated the Falcon for some reason."
"I see." She replied, passing me the drink, "Well there are plenty of rooms free. But you've got to play full rent! I am running a buisness here you know." She gave a slight chuckle, "By the way, you don't seem that annoyed... about the Falcon I mean."
I glanced up at her. "Well I'm annoyed alright. But I've got other things on my mind right now."
"Leia?"
"Leia."
Xandyr
I took Caitlin to a local hotel, where I told her Janet and I had been renting a room. Of course we weren't, but we had to pretend to. We didn't want anyone to know where we really lived, not only to protect Mara, but to protect me. Swoop racing was illegal on Coruscant, and getting arrested was not something I needed right now.
"Here we go." I said slipping the card into the door to grant us access. Mara was sat down inside. I nodded to her, signaling to go along with the facade. She put on an annoyed expression. "Honey, I know. I'm sorry OK. But you could be pregnant, and I have to know. Surely a little check up wouldn't hurt? This is Caitlin Trok, she's a qualified doctor."

The girl dropped a number of choicy rodian remarks in the direction of Li. No one could swear as well as them. "Oh shut up you bloody idiot. You shouldn't even be here. But no, you had to be like a bloody knight in shining armour and get stuck here. Don't you remember the talk we had in invisec? Don't you!"
The argument shifted her attention away from both the pain and Mona, the anger still remained and grew though.

"Oh that's big Sem, that's real big!" I retorted, "And yeah maybe I shouldn't. But you're the one who sent out a kriffing Force distress call. Forgive me if I answered! At least I'm willing to help someone out!"

Lady in Blue
They were falling apart. I resisted the urge to burst out laughing at the two teens verbally battling it out.
They think I can't get to them, but this is what happens when I ruin your lives...you fall apart, on the inside and outside. I thought to myself.
I decided to interrupt. "The other prisoner? Oh, thats really none of your business, now is it? Besides, you two are still my main focus, and you two wouldn't really care about them anyway. You can barely care about each other."
Miss Haltzilakas
I smiled kindly. "Thank you, Memah," I said in reference to what she stated when we first walked in. "I think right now we are more worried about the people on the missions than ourselves. I am not worried about the ones after Mona just yet, but the four that have never returned concerns me."
"You two are still thinking like you're Chief of State and Head of Security," Duskbringer interrupted. "Don't you think that Sora would overtake those operations? Not that that would be a good thing in his off state of mind..."
"Proper protocol states that we have to finish the missions that we approved in the first place. These missions were ones that Han and I directly set off," I explained. "And some of these people are our friends."
Dusk nodded. "You're right."
"Thats very noble of you two." Lynn said.
"We just need to hope that they return safely. Right now there is nothing that we can do." I said.
Caitlin
I smiled at Janet as I walked in. I had grabbed some spare equipment on my way out...it wasn't what I would normally use, but it would do in a time like this. "Just stay calm...this won't take long." I told her very softly as I sat down beside her.
She simply nodded. "Thanks," she said.

"Oh really?" I said defensively, looking back to Mona, "Well who you ever cared about? Or more importantly, who has ever about you?"
