"Getting in!" Abbi said with no hesitation. She took Reza's hand and put her in first and took the seat closest to the driver.

Without a word, Niko vaulted into the speeder and took his seat. He made sure to buckle his seatbelt, the two-shoes that he was, and put his computer on his knees. He didn't bother asking where they were going, that would likely become apparent soon enough. Niko just hoped it didn't lead toward more explosions.

Deej quickly got in the speeder, not having any doubt or hesitation about getting out of here one bit...not after what they had all just witnessed. He silently sat down in one of the seats and brushed his hair back.
Sister Ethea jumped in the speeder, Bible in hand. "Time to do more work of the Lord! FOR GOD AND MISS JINKINS!" she exclaimed.

For heroism and romance. Which reminds me, I need to find that story and finish it up. Niko thought, bringing to mind the contraband story he had been reading in college which got him exiled in the first place. Imperials, though. Too slow on the draw sometimes to catch a guy like me, whatcha gonna do?

I hate that sinning Lady GaGa. Just destroying my God's universe! And I cannot believe my own sister Celeste actually indulges in the things that she promotes. Lord have mercy. Sister Ethea randomly thought.

RJ hopped in the front seat by Ginelli and Abby. Ginelli floored it, the speeder taking off so quickly that they were forced back against the seat by the sudden speed. The radio came to life when Ginelli pushed the power button, blaring music out at them. He turned the tuner, searching for the news... but no mention of the nightclub yet. Good.
"I'm going to take you all to my place. I've got plenty of room, and we can get your supplies there also. I've got a secret garage full of shit. You'll be goo- what the hell?"
The sound of the radio cut out, becoming only static before going completely silent. Moments later a voice came through.
"Don't look up."
Ginelli looked up and glared at the speeder zooming towards them. He pushed a button on the dash panel and the roof slid closed with a thud. "Buckle up," he commanded.
"Why?" RJ asked, fastening his seatbelt.
Ginelli didn't answer, instead speeding up till traffic was almost a blur. "Watch out for that building!!!" RJ yelled.
Moments before they hit Ginelli went straight up.

Abbi didn't flinch, but part of her stomach dropped as the speeder did a complete vertical run. Head against her seat, hands balled into fists at her side, she asked loudly, "What's happening?!"

"I dunno. All I know is I just felt my contents shift!" Niko cried, hugging his computer to him like a safety blanket.

Deej was thrown back against his seat, clinging onto it for dear life. "WHAT THE....what is going on?!?!" Deej exclaimed as he held onto his seat like there was no tomorrow...out of the blue they were going up the building and the roof was closed.
"Ginelli is just doing the Lord's work!" Sister Ethea exclaimed, obviously not minding this at all.

Ginelli zoomed up the side of the building, the windows vibrating from the sound and speed of the vehicle. The pursing speeder was not thrown off in the slightest, coming after them with ease. Ginelli cursed and pushed another button, and there was a thud as an auto turret deployed on the back of the speeder, beginning to fire at the attackers.
They zoomed over the building towards Ginelli's place, a 3D holographic map guiding them. "Are they dead yet?" Ginelli yelled.
"No," RJ said, looking behind them.
Ginelli popped the glove compartment and pulled out a rather large looking pistol-like gun. He handed it to Abbi. "This is a mini grenade launcher. You've got one shot. Hit them!"
With the push of another button, the roof was down.

Niko's eyes widened at the sight of the mini grenade launcher. "Wait, why the hell would we need one of those?" he asked Ginelli nervously, his eyes moving rapidly from the man to the launcher. The wind whooshed into his eyes and rustled his hair. He looked quickly behind them and noticed the speeder getting closer.

Abbi took the weapon in one hand, holding on to the seat for dear life with the other. She'd never put on her seatbelt, so if Ginelli made a crazy-ass turn she was going to go flying.
Well you're a master of the death-grip. Stand your ground.
She aimed it at the speeder coming after them... then hesitated. She swung the weapon the the far right and fired. There was a sudden twu-mph and she felt an object go flying. It was large and rather dark looking, and she felt herself praying, heart pounding in her chest...
The grenade thrown by the speeder's downdraft and caught itself in the engines of their pursuer. She closed her eyes against the explosion, holding on tightly as the speeder rocketed in the slipstream.
And then everything was quiet.
"It's down," she reported.

Ginelli shouted in joy as the explosion lit up the night sky. Finally safe, he aimed them towards the ground, bringing them down to his home, a large sprawling building. They landed on the roof, an aid rushing over to them right away.
Ginelli and RJ hopped out and stretched.
