While Niko, Abbi, and RJ all talked, and Shimmer left after finding Arruna, Deej looked around...he saw Reza, she was still sort of drunk, but they had gotten her out of the nightclub okay...and obviously Sister Ethea was around. However, there was one person that he grabbed and knew he pulled out of the bar, but didn't see: Ryinn.
"Ryinn!" Deej called as he looked around for him. "Ryinn?! Can you hear me?!"
A part of Deej worried that he had somehow died in the explosion, but he knew he had gotten him out. I went over to the bar, I yanked him and Reza out of the nightclub together! I know he's alive...we just have to find him! Deej thought to himself, trying to convince himself that Ryinn had survived.
But where was he?
When the club exploded, Deej had been thrown a good distance, and thats when he lost Ryinn, but they were out of the bar by then. And he had survived, so Ryinn had to as well.
"RYINN!" he called urgently again.
They had gotten seperated from him...Ryinn was probably alive, but the explosion had seperated him from the rest of the group. That seemed more likely than anything.
"I'm afraid he's gone. Miss Jinkins told me this would happen." Sister Ethea said as she walked up behind Deej, shaking her head at the wreckage.
"Wh-what do you mean gone?" Deej asked nervously.
"That boy is walking his own path now. His time with us was short-lived, and God always intended it to be that way. He lived...the devil didn't get ahold of him, and he's most likely still on the battlefield for the Lord, or he better be. But now, he's going his own way in life. This was what kicked it off." Sister Ethea explained to Deej, seeming rather calm.
"Are you sure?" Deej asked, although the nun had proven herself to be crazy yet know things like this at times, he was still uncertain.
"Don't doubt a servant of the Lord, boy!" Sister Ethea yelled, slapping Deej "But yes, Ryinn has many new adventures ahead of him....ones that don't involve us. But we have to continue on on the battlefield that God has placed us on, and continue to fight the devil's servants, despite this boy's absence."
Deej slowly nodded...he looked around again. Ryinn was one of the few that he could rely on to be positive sometimes, so this kinda saddened him, and to him, it was one less person on their side. But nonetheless, he had to just tell himself that what Ethea said was right: They had to forge on, and just hope for the best for Ryinn...at least he wasn't dead.

Reza smiled and loked around. "Niko, Houston, Abbi, Ethea, Deej... am I missin soomone?"
Slowly she examined the group a few more times. There was broken crap everywhere and she could still see blood. Deej was franticly moving around, yelling something, buit she couldn't hear him over her ringing ears. She started to get frustrated. Who was missing?
She snapped the hairbands on her wrist until the back of her hand was red, but no matter how much she hurt, she still couldn't figure it out. Her hand was burning and she was still drunk and clueless.

Niko walked up to the masochistic Reza and asked her "Reza, have you seen Ryinn?"

Deej sighed, and decided to walk over to Reza and Niko after he heard their question...it would be best to just tell everyone now. "He survived...I pulled him out, but we got seperated during the explosion...he's alright, but I don't think we'll be seeing him again." he slowly said to the two.

Niko couldn't help but feel a little sorry. Even though he hadn't known Ryinn very well and hadn't had much opportunity to talk with him, it was sad to see a traveling companion part ways. Ryinn had been in trouble with the Empire before and now instead of being with them, he was taking his chances on his own, but maybe in some way some good could come of this.
"Maybe... They'll think he was killed in the blast." Niko suggested, feeling heavy on the heart "And now, they won't be able to hire bounty hunters to catch him... He'll have his life back..." Niko's eyes looked down onto the street into a puddle of water as he said this. Inside the puddle, he saw a reflection he didn't quite recognize. It was him, but it was not. He thought about how much he had changed even in the small space of time of his own flight from the law.
"Kinda makes me wonder if I'll be quite so fortunate." he whispered. Niko toughened his expression, took in some air and sucked it up. "Well." he told Deej "We'd better get going, before a meteor falls onto this vicinity and makes this block look even trashier."

Ryinn? THAT'S WHO WAS MISSING! "Oh no... Wells, yous rite Niko. He's gotz his life back and won't has peeple twyin to killz him likz we does. I hope he doesn't get attacked by mutant cannibals though...." She looked around. "Abz! Abbi! Abbi Abbi Abbi! I wanna giant mutant cannibal for mah birfday! Otay? A Giant mutant Cannibal!"

Abbi made a mental note to get Reza a lifesize reproduction of Dizzy Wallin for her birthday. "I have you covered, sis," Abbi assured her. She still felt guilty about whatever would befall Ryinn in the future, but at the same time knew it wasn't her fate to find out. She couldn't get rid of the grief, though.
"Come on, guys," she said. "Let's see if RJ's contact survived."

RJ rubbed the back of his neck and sighed, watching the burning rubble of what had once been the nightclub. He looked at the others who were a distance away and talking, then turned his gaze back to the rubble. Wait, what was that? Did a piece of wall just shift a bit?
He moved a bit closer and watched as a man pushed the debris off him and stumbled towards them. What sounded like some sort of alien curses were muttered, and RJ sighed. It was Ginelli. He'd be the only human around fluent in alien curses.
"Hey!" RJ said. "You made it!"
"Of course I did..." Ginelli said, a smirk on his dirty, slightly cut face. "This isn't the first time I've dealt with this."
RJ decided not to ask.

Deej was glad to see that Ginelli was alright...he hoped that, despite the chaos that Sister Ethea caused, that he would still at least let them use what resources he still had. He looked around at everyone else. "So...the nightclub exploded, Ryinn's gone...what do we do now?" he asked.

"I think we need to talk to Ginelli," Abbi said to Deej. "If Houston trusts him, he must be helpful."

"The man may have ran a place full of sin, but I believe he could be useful in the Lord's work! Miss Jinkins told me so!" Sister Ethea yelled as she walked over to them, still waving her Bible around. "But perhaps this will show him to run a place that defies my God's word."
"And are you sure Miss Jinkins is reliable?" Deej asked Sister Ethea curiously.
"Don't no one talk about Miss Jinkins!" Sister Ethea yelled, slapping Deej.
Deej rubbed his cheek and looked at Abbi. "Well, lets go talk to Ginelli then." he said as he headed over to him.

Who's Miss Jinkins? Please, please, please don't make me visit her! If she's anything like Ethea here i'm in biiiiiig trouble. I just hope Ethea doen't mak me visit her. Oh gods....
Reza looked up from her thoughts. "Abbeh, why is teh skaah bloo? And whah does it turn gray?"

Niko rolled his eyes at Reza's drunkenness and her silly questions. They were so silly that he had a grim sense of foreboding that this story was going to stay the way it was forever. Because if all that had been said by anyone in over a day was questioning why the sky was blue and that she wanted a mutant for Christmas, it was clear things were not going according to plan.
"Gee, I dunno Reza." Niko said, looking out the fourth wall and staring down everyone "Why don't we go ask Ginelli."
He made his way over to RJ and was stunned to see the nightclub owner, Ginelli alive but quite worse for wear. "Houston, is he doing all right? When'd you find him?" Niko asked casually glancing around.

"Oh, just now," RJ said, glancing at Niko. Sweat poured down his face as the heat grew more intense, the flames spreading rapidly. Ginelli looked back at the club and rubbed his eyes, then sighed. His short black hair was somehow untouched, but the rest of him was a mess.
"Ok, I suggest we get the hell out of here," Ginelli said, stumbling off towards a nearby building. He went through a small doorway and out of sight, then a noise sounded as the garage door went up on it's track. A speeder zoomed out and pulled up in front of them.
"Get in," Ginelli said.
