Favorite EU Writer?

Okay, StarWars has a HUUUUGE amount of EU writers out there so I only listed the most well known ones in the poll.

At first I always loved Kevin J. Anderson(with Timothy Zahn in a close second place), because he and his Jedi Academy series got me into Starwars books, but after the Legacy of the Force series I adore Karen Traviss's writing.

I love Karen Traviss' Republic Commando series of books. She makes everything seem so real and not like they're trying a half-hearted attempt to place you inside another galaxy. The way she goes in first person at the beginning of the book is real cool, too. She makes everyone have depth, more so than anyone, really, and she's not afraid to kill off a character for story's sake. I mean, come on, if everyone lived through everything, there won't be so much drama.

But... I'm almost wishing she didn't kill off a certain character in the Legacy of the Force series. But oh well.

I love Traviss aswell She just made the feelig of the books come jumping out at me.
Actually I have only read her RC books
