To start off-yes, yes, I know that that happened years[/b] ago. And obviously Bill Clinton is no longer president. And yes, I know that the impeachment thing did not happen.
And well, even though it was an event that happened so long ago now, I thought that maybe it might make an interesting discussion. I'm not sure why, I guess I have been thinking about what I saw on TV back when it was going on and whatnot.
But anyway, I just want to throw this question out there--What did you guys think of Bill Clinton in general? Do you think he should have been impeached back then? And also, what did you/do you think of the whole impeachment thing that went on back then in general?

I really dunno how to explain this, but sometimes I get feelings about people by looking at them, you know? It's not steoriotyping, not really--I can tell who's kind, who's a bully, and stuff like that if I concentrate hard enough. And Bill Clinton looks like a double-crossing lying SoB, even before I learned he was almost impeached. And Hilary Clinton... god damn, when I first saw her I changed the channel. Her eyes were scary.  IMO, Clinton should've been impeached and he should've had another guy in his place. America is represented in it's leader. |

Hmm, this has always been an interesting topic to me...I really read up about it at one time, because its like...its not right by any means, and may be a reason to impeached...but also it was his personal life(even though he had "sexual relations" in the Oval Office and is the leader of the country), and not an outright crime against the US itself like say the Watergate Scandal that President Richard Nixon was involve in back in the 70's. So I am very 50/50 on whether they should have gone all the way with the impeachment. What he did was NOT right, cheating on Hilary with Monica Lewinsky and those others, but whether it should have involved such legal action is questioned...maybe it was justified, though. And Bill Clinton...well...that was the administration that was in reign during my childhood, and all things considered, I thought things were pretty well back then...from what I hear, the economy was well off, and everything in the country was fine. Overall, probably a fine President(not so so horrible like Bush Jr., not amazing like John F. Kennedy). And if he had been impeached...well, it would have been interesting to see where the country would have gone. Al Gore would have taken over as President(getting his wish a bit early  ), and I am not sure how he would have handled the country. He may have been great and actually served from 2001-2009 instead of Bush, but that is an entirely another subject, not to mention one that is pure speculation. |

All I know is I like the idea of a sexually active president. Think less stress so he doesnt blow us all to hell. Me no likely being nuked.
