Dark or Light?

When you first played KotOR whether it was 1 or 2 (whichever you played first) did you decide to be good or evil?

I was... well for the most part neutral although int eh end it was a light side ending...

I was good first time, then evil the next.

But I think the DS/LS systems were way too cheesy.

LS example: "Oh, here, let me give you all my gold so you can get a safe passage off of Taris!"

DS example: "Die, squid-head!"

I mean, c'om, isn't that just a LITTLE cheesy? K2 was the most. With Mass Effect out in stores now, by Bioware, you get Paragon and Renegade points, but it's not like DS/LS at all. Dark Side isn't all murder, bloodthirsty descisions. It's frustration taking over, which is a normal, average American. That, coupled with Force Powers, should have made the character a bit more in-depth, but it was all like some lines out of some over-dramatic steoriotype movies.

Yeah, considering they are Teen games, they can't really go all out with evil stuff. lol.

lol what i found funny though was almost everything was an absolute action it was either all light or all dark there wasn't much middle ground it was very very hard to say neutral. And Jedi consider anyone who thinks in only absolutes to be fallen

Well I played it how I felt it and in the end ended up neutral - too bad there is no grey ending
