Alright, here's a fic idea that popped into my head. I don't have time to type it right now, but I've got a one liner summary/ dramatic sentence thing.
An elderly, dying Revan looks back on his redemption; from his brief time on the Endar Spire to his herioc deeds on the Star Forge. These are his notes...

Okay, here's the first chapter, which if I don't like, I may edit. Don't worry, I'll edit it before I post a new chapter.

Chapter 1: The Beginning of the End
Jarod Kets, known to many as Revan; stared out at the blank, white walls of the med bay. He was so groggy that he barely knew what was going on around him, from what he gathered he was in the med bay of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The elderly jedi tried desperately to find out why this was happening to him, he had taken care of himself so well, yet for some reason there he was, rotting in the med bay like a piece of fruit in a bowl.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a healer, he knew this only from the blank white robes, speaking with his life long love- Bastila. She had always been at his side for as long as he could remember, which was about sixty years. Supposedly she had been at his side for days, yet he did not remember such a thing. He smiled at her beauty, granted; her hair had grayed and her face started to age, yet she was still as beautiful to him today as she was back on Taris.
He heard the healer raise her voice, yet still trying to speak quietly. Of course, she had failed miserably.
"Mrs. Kets, I think its time you start thinking quality over quantity." she said crossing her arms
"I...I can't. Its just that, well..."
Revan turned his head to actually watch the conversation take place. He watched as Bastila's head fell into her hands, the healer quickly holding her and patting her back
"I know...its hard, but to be honest there's nothing else we can do for him."
Pain. Revan felt pain and heartbreak through the Force.
"What happens if I let you do this?" Bastila asked, looking up slowly
"We'll take him off the machines, give him painkillers...and well...wait..."
The elderly female jedi appeared offended by the end of the sentence, yet she did nothing "So then...how long would he have if we did that?"
"Couple hours to a day, depending on how long he wants to fight it."
Sorrow was again flowing through the Force.
"Fine..." Bastila wiped her eyes "What do I have to do?"
"All you have to do is auto print this datapad and we'll get started."
Carefully reading over the datapad Bastila slowly pressed her thumb against the screen slowly, as if it would change something. The healer soon left, Revan guessed it was to begin filling out a few forms.
Bastila slowly walked over to his bed side and looked deep into his eyes.
"We're gonna take you off of the machines."
Revan felt betrayed, it didn't sound true coming from the healer's mouth, yet now fear flooded him. "Okay."
Revan thought about his children, although grown up, he felt wrong for leaving them. He then thought to his students, which he had trained until he was admitted into this white-walled hell. It seemed as if he was betraying them all.
Bastila nodded "I'm glad you don't feel as if I'm doing this to get rid of you, trust me, its the last thing I want. And, you know, I'm really sorry."
Revan sighed "Could you give me a little bit? Some time to think about this?"
"Absolutely." his wife replied solemnly
After watching Bastila leave the room, Revan reached over to the table beside his bed, grabbing a small recorder. He cleared his throat, turning it on, and spoke softly.
"My name is Revan Kets, some of you may still call me Jarod. The current time is 1925 Republic Standard time. From what I've heard I've got only a little longer to be with you. Since I have nothing to pass down to you, my friends and family, I want to leave this story of how y...you saved me."

So it's about a female ls Revan? Interesting, that whereas Revan is officially male, almost everyone I know, seems him as a her Or male? Since you use a lot of his etc, but "Mrs. Kets, Sorry /me is blind as usual, I didn't notice Bastilla there at first - it's past two in the morning :~
