The age old question, which do you prefer TNG or teh original?
There both very good although TNG deffinatly was more liked while it was airing. I like the TNG stories (for the most part) and of course the special effects are nice, but I've got to go with the originals due to the dialog and humor between Spock, Bones, and Kirk which half the time cracks me up and just because the original is well... the original it started it all and even though its old now its still really fun to watch.

Never seen a lot of then, but I used to watch the Next Generation a lot at my grandma's. I don't know about the Original

TOS was very good, for its time. However, I think their acting and special are lacking. And I find TNG's humour great, so personally I prefer TNG.

The Original Series, FTW That is the series that originally got me hooked on Star Trek, and I positively adore Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. Nobody can ever quite replace them in my mind, although I like the TNG crew as well. However, I sometimes view the TNG crew as a bunch of semi-spoiled buerocrats (or however you spell that word). It's just... they have their precious holodecks and their replicators and just about everything they could possibly want, plus I think Captain Picard follows the Prime Directive to the extreme sometimes. I still like him, though. |
