So what is you're guy's favorite Star Destroyer I listed all of the one's I could remember but there are probably a few I missed.
Mine would have to be the Allegiance class. It was bigger then a "classic" Star Destroyer and packed a much larger wallop but was still maneuverable and wasn't easy prey for fighters like the SSDs.

Yes the Venator is the one from episode three, and I included Jarek's because it's a cool ship I included Admiral Giel's ships as well.

I found all of them to be pure genius, and love good classical Star Destroyers, but I think the SSDs conquer all of them!

lol its the Vengeance SSD, its about the same length as a normal SSD but is much thinner almost looking like a sword. It packed not onyl a lot of fire power but also had enough room to serve as Jereks training center. thats all i can remmber off of the top of my head but here's the wiki article on it. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Vengeance_%28Jerec%27s_Super_Star_Destroyer%29

It was Daalas. I think Palleon had the gorgon.
To be honest, I never liked Kuati ships too much, the only exception being the interdictor. Mon Cal ships were just nicer.
And yo missed Booster's impstar deuce. There are not that many bright red stardestroyers out there.

I'm gonna assess most of these with a fine tooth comb: Imperial Class Star Destroyer: just my size, with a tractor beam, shuttle hangar bay and fighter hangar bays Executor Class SSD Dreadnought: nice dark texture, massive size, bit too big Victory SD Series: bit too small for my liking Eclipse SSD: doesn't quite have Death Star capabilities; it can play havoc with the planet's surface, however; but it's simply too big Vengeance SSD: Nah, too much like an Indian dagger; too big, too Venator Class SD: nice size, good fighter capacity, too old and outdated Acclamator Assault Ship: nice size, good storage capacity, also an outdated design Immobiliser 418 Cruiser (Interdictor): nice size, fantastic hyperspace stoppage and missile diversion capabilities, FAR too weak structurally I don't really know the others I've not mentioned, so i can't like or dislike them; overall, I'd have to name the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer (ISD) as my favourite; I'd command one of those any day of the week , of course I'd get a custom-made escape pod bay for the bridge...just in case.

Nice assessment, Omega! As for the Chimaera, it was first Pellaeon's ship(well and Thrawn's too some of the time), while Daala had the Gorgon, but then when Pellaeon was killed by Tahiri Veila he passed it on to Daala.

So... If I put big assed engines on an AT-AT can if be a Star Destroyer? I like AT-ATs... Seriously, imagine one that flies and has a massive laser on its back

I thank you for your congratulations HK, it's my way of helping me discover which variant I'd find the most comfort in; I frequently find myself tossing up between an Executor SSD, an Imperial-class SD, and an Immobiliser 418 but I end up with the ISD winning my ultimate vote every time because it's an all-rounder you could say. I've heard of the Chimaera, mentioned VERY briefly in EAW; I've not heard of the Gorgon, what's so special about these two vessels?

The Chimaera is sort of legendary. I think its a standard ISD, but far from a random SD. It was Pellaeon's ship, first introduced in Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire, and then I believe when Thrawn came around the ship was given to him, although Pellaeon remained its captain(I may have some of the facts wrong here, but most of them are correct).
After Thrawn's death, the ship was continued to be used by Pellaeon for eons and eons during his time leading the Remnant. Around the Vong War or before then, I think it was almost destroyed, but not quite. Daala emerged with it in Revelation, so its pretty much her ship now.
The Gorgon was Daala's original SD, along with her three others, that she used at the Maw. After she left the Maw, she continued to use it in her attacks against the New Republic, but it slowly fell apart after Kyp Durron nearly blew it up with the Sun Crusher, then it took a huge punch when she tried to unsuccessfully defend the Maw. It was later scrapped when Daala came under the leadership of the Warlord Harrsk.

Yes the Chimaera is legendary. It is arguably the most famous EU ship out there
