Another one of the big debates among Star Wars fans  Its true for most people Jar Jar is hate him or love him character, but what do you think? Do you hate him or do you love him? Was he an unfunny waste of space that should never have been thought up by George Lucas OR Is he actually a pretty cool character who doesnt deserve all the stick he gets. |

oh he annoyed me to no end. I understadn why Lucas put him in there so that the younger veiwers coudl eb amused but................ I mean peopel are gettign cut in half durign it? is that really the kind of envirment to put a teletuby liek character in?

I'm actually watching TPM again right now as I'm on-line here. I'm one of the people who enjoy Jar-Jar. He is quite entertaining, in my opinion. He's stupid and needs a brain transplant, but entertaining. I don't think the story would be able to proceed without him. After all, who would have led Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to Ota Gunga to meet Boss Nass if not Jar-Jar Binks?

Yes, and he subconciously brought the Gungans and the Nabbo together. I don't mind his stupidity at all, I actually think watching Jar Jar is a good way to cheer myself up whenever I'm feling a bit down or under the weather. (Don't laugh!) |

I'm laughing only in agreement, Rain. When I watch him kicking a battle droid around that attaches itself to his leg and takes down other battle droids, I can't help but think he's the luckiest fool in the Star Wars Galaxy! |

I think there is a few spoofs out there like one in Tales of the Jedi I read about on Wookieepedia where Jar Jar ends up as Palpatines master... It seems we are the only ones who find Jar jar worthy of discussion also |
