Exactly! But then again advances in technology and graphics is the primary reason for the action etc

Does any one know any good EU novels etc featuring the pair? There is the Jedi Apprentice series that has Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon from the start of their relationship on for quite a few adventures. No novels that I'm aware of, but I've got all the books in this series. I enjoy the original trilogy, but with the newer technology, I was abstolutely thrilled watching the pod race sequence, and all the lightsaber dueling. Much more intense than the original trilogy. I'm all for the prequal!

Looks like the poll is even... for now I only have one Jedi Apprentice book and it was pretty good IMO

I've got them all. They're great. They get in tough spots, but manage to survive until the movies.

People say they are from kids but they seemed like most other books to me, besides the length

Originals is where it is at. The prequels may have the better graphics/action sequences. I just think that the story (rebellion vs. the empire) and especially the acting is better in the originals. I wasn't sold With Hayden and Portman. The romance was just notrocious in Attack of the Clones (but Hayden's acting was much better ROTS). I love them all but the originals stick out the most to me because they were just plain out more epic with the best villain in history (Vader), the death stars, etc... Just richer
Empire Strikes Back was my favorite episode.

Portman pulled off her role pretty good, I think, but Hayden was still a novice actor when they pulled him in, and the dialogue between them was too... meh. And Empire vs. Rebels was a pretty good firefight, I was liking that a lot. I think the only one Lucas didn't screw up on in Prequels was Ep.1
