Well, I'm re-installing #2 so I can play the new Expansion Pack. I've played through #2 before and thought it had a neat storyline, but I guess Obisidian didn't have a thing for satisfying endings. Apparently, we all died at the end and some nasally narrator is giving us a crappy epilogue with pictures. That was possibly the worst part of the game.

7 just for the ending. I'll see if the Expansion Pack makes it any better.

The Expansion Pack is awesome! Mask of the Betrayer. I'm learning everyone's fates after the end, including who survived, who didn't, ect. And I'm not out to save the world from total destruction anymore. Instead, I get to save my own soul. How lovely.

Ive never actually playd this But Ive heard of it and always mntion it when talking about 99 Nights
Is it any good? Whats the plot?

The player character is a resident of the tiny village of West Harbor, the place of a titanic battleground where the King of Shadows was thought defeated. The player character's fate is intricately tied to this historical battle, where the character's mother was killed and infant character raised by the elven ranger Daeghun Farlong. As the game begins, the player character is a young adult, never having left West Harbor and with little knowledge of his or her history.

After West Harbor is suddenly attacked by extraplanar creatures called Githyanki and their minions in search of something unrevealed, Daeghun directs the PC to retrieve a silver shard found years ago after the King of Shadows' defeat. Daeghun sends the PC away from West Harbor with the silver shard to Neverwinter, where his half-brother, Duncan, has more answers.

Rain: Meh, not really. There's basically no cutscenes except the REAL important parts. But there's great graphics, storyline, and characters.

In the expansion pack, I made a tiefling Ranger with horns, short hair, and tattoos around her eyes. ;D I'm wondering if Khelgar would have anything to say to me in NN2 if I played as her.
