Ah, yes, Dreamgirls...the 2006 movie modeled after the 1982 Broadway Musical! Anyone seen this movie? I am dying to get it sometime, I've read about the storyline and have listened to so many great songs they sang in it...and it has Beyonce and Eddie Murphy!!! EEE!

Okay I got this movie awhile back and watched it, and aside from some cussing(but its not worse than anything in the real world so I didn't mind much), it was FANTASTIC! Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Hudson really outdid themselves in this movie. Heck, Anika Noni Rose too. I am serious, it was outstanding!
They all shined and I really liked Keith Robinson too. The story was very good and aligned with the time this movie takes place, and I think my favorite musical number was "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going". Jennifer Hudson was just....WOW.

Oh I remember hearing about her on American Idol(in fact, I may have saw her, I just don't remember). She was just, breath-taking in "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going". I know Jennifer Holliday didn't really like the film, but she(and heck Diana Ross too for that matter) should really be proud of her.
