Like the title says, I am asking everyone here, what was the first kind of music you ever listened too, as far as you can remember? And whatever it is, do you still listen to it, and do you still enjoy it? The very first form of music I was introduced too was country western. Even to this day I still remember listening to it in the car whenever my family went anywhere, and I still love some of those old songs even to this day. I think perhaps in some ways, country music has changed over the years, so that it sounds a bit more rockish than country, but some of it still sounds like country music. So how about it? What was the very first music you ever listened too? Or perhaps I should say, got exposed to >.>

Now don't laugh! The first music I was ever exposed to was my neighbor's excersize tapes. My mom bought me one for Christmas since I begged and pleaded for one, and then, well... During car rides I'd pop in the tape and sing "Inhale, Exhale, Inhale, Exhale..." And the thing is, I really liked it when I was three years old. Then my mom would put in some Christmas music, and I'd be bored. lol

Classic Rock was the very first music I listened to. Well my dad is a major Rock fan like I am. He got me into the classic 90s Rock bands such as the likes of Heart, Bon Jovi and The Corrs. No cheesy pops for me. >.>

For me, I think it was something from limp bizkit. I still want to murder my friend for it. It was during a school trip - a week long trip on top of that. and he had those old walkmans with integrated speakers.
I liked the music at first, but as he had it turned on, day after day, on those speakers full of static I learned to hate the music.
I sincerely feel sorry for the guys, since I heard that he had it turned on even during the nights.

I grew up on stuff like Lynard Synard(sp?), but I've moved on to Alter Bridge and Disturbed.

I mainly remember orchestral soundtracks alot. A real lot. Not any of that opera crap. I mean soundtracks.(i.e. The Battle of Britain)
