The story of humanities 'endless war' followed by their escape from this war in a colony ship called the Roter Stern (Junk Angel hatse for me to pronounce that 
) and the following colonization of Proxima Centauri and the continued exploration of the galaxy 
This story is a project of mine and I often refer to it as "Project Verbannte Sonne." The story itself will be released in pieces as part of the Verbannte Sonne RPG that will be released at the end of the year, but a full story book will be released within the following year. Below is a little bit of information regarding the "Proxima Chapter" of the story. This is the point before humanity has really gotten out and met other races. They have met very few by chance. In this phase, the second planet in the Proxima Centauri system has been fully terraformed.
The Navy.
The Navy is actually composed of large exploration and combat ships from two major factions. The Explorer's Union and the United Alliance of Proxima. It contains thirteen capital ships as well as a handful of frigates. All of these vessels utilize the Herrmann Negative Mass Drive and most are equipped with a device which allows them to enter "Lite-Space™" for quicker means of travel.
(The Lite-Space name is a registered Trademark of the Townsend Manufacturing Co., May 2463, Denver City, Proxima 2.)
Kidians.
Kidians are the first race that the humans at Proxima had ever made contact with. This was shortly after the initial landing on Proxima and proved to be of great help to humanity. The Kidians were willing to offer technology in trade for some of the planet's resources. Faster than light Space Travel would not have been possible without aid from the Kidians. This race of intergalactic merchants would play a major role in future treaties between the Humans and an ancient race called the Velkandrans.
