So who out there watches SG1 or Atlantis or has seen the movie and what do you think of the series. I personally really like the movie and SG1 although i sorta lost interest near the end (the ori arc) and never really got into Atlantis. I really like the base story for the series being that the "old" gods where actually aliens fighting over humanity. The series can be pretty humorous with the character interactions and the little jabs it throws at some religions every once in awhile.

I really liked the first few series. But then it somehow started to feel bland and boring.

Yeah, I personally don't like Atlantis either. I saw part of the movie, and I like SG1.

I used to absolutely love this show  But now I feel that it has gotten poorer... Was there a film? I remember a film thing that was on tv a while ago where they were beings from another planet or something and there was a group of themand it was very confusing...  Teal'c has had lots of plastic surgery (thats his name isnt it?) |

yeah that is, and the movie is what started the show. It came out in the early nineties I believe and it had a completely different cast list. Originally there was going to be like three more movies but some one else got the rights to it and made a show out of it  |

SG1 was good... But the moment O'Neill left the series (well, stopped being a main character) I lost 95% of my interest. He is what made the show great, without him its just another action/sci-fi...
Atlantis and post-O'Neill SG1 are... Average.
