House To House: An epic memoir of war -- David BellaviaOK, normally, if it isn't fiction I won't read it but this... It is my favourite book... EVER. I've been reading the likes of Dean Koontz and Stephen King since I can remember (my mum reads them so I do too) and nothing has come close to this... Its not fiction. Its the account of SSgt. David Bellavia of the US army during his time in Iraq, mostly about his role in the Fallujah (sp?) offensive. It is incredibly graphic, it shows the dark and dirty side of the war over there and it does it on a damn personal level. After reading it I read it again instantly because I couldn't believe that it was as good as I recalled. It is. Anyone else read this or heard of it?
