I think all of us have had our fair share of small disappointments at one point or another. But what I'm referring too right here are the minor things, and although they are not overly earth-shattering or anything, they can still be disappointing.
For example, let's say that you were looking forward to purchasing a new game, or perhaps even going to visit a place you haven't been too in a long time. Now, of course, if somehow it just does not work out, whether its because of a lack of money, or something came up, or whatever, it's not like it's going to be the end of the world or anything. I mean, come on, these things are small and minor, and so long as you have a roof over your head and you have something to eat every day, you're actually doing very well in life.
However, sometimes when the little things do not work out, for one reason or another, it can still be rather disappointing. I mean, like I said above, if you have a roof over your head and have all of your basic needs being met, you shouldn't have anything to complain about, right? But sometimes... sometimes it just feels like you want a little something extra, just to enjoy, or to help break up the routine, or to give a new distraction, or whatever.
Meh I have no idea if this is making any sense at all, LOL. I'm probably just babbling. But... maybe you sorta know what I mean. If it doesn't make sense, perhaps I could try to clarify >.>

I know exatly what you mean. Its ironic really, the little things are what piss me off and yet the things that should make a difference I almost shrug off (Something I really need to get over.).
For example, this morning even; I was having trouble with a simple guitar riff, simple, I'd done it a million times!...yes this morning I was almost driven to smash the bloody thing. And yet, when my grades started dropping last year- "Hmm...that's a damn shame, better bring that crap up..."
But yeah, that's my mini rant for ya'...

I've had thos ehappen tons of times. =\ Like wanting to go to my aunt's for Christmas break. My mom wouldn't let me, and I was really disappointed about it. =\ But when I found out my grades were slipping because of basketball, well... I was too stressed to do anything about it, really.
