OOC: Survival, Dark Times 2

It is only weeks after the Battle of Endor ended. Tian “Scout” Gash was sent to the Rebel planet of Naboo to recover from the injuries she sustained when dueling Darth Sidious. Her boyfriend Naos Redgrave escorted her to Naboo, and is staying with her until she is well enough to be released.

The Rebel Alliance stayed on Endor for two weeks to recooperate from the Battle of Endor, and set up a small base on the planet. A funeral service was given by Jaskia Paine’s JedI team called the “Ghosts” and the Rebels for Former Dark Lord Anakin Skywalker after he sacrificed himself to help Scout live on.

After this, the Rebels left Endor and headed to the Inner Rim. Sora Trok, Jaskia, Nait Gash, Padme Amidala Trok, and others have all headed to take out the last big powerbases before attacking Coruscant.

However, little do they know that the criminal underworld have their own plans for the Galaxy. Led by the very much alive Jabba the Hutt, many Hutts, leaders, and other powerful criminals have teamed up with an Imperial Council that is full of warlords, admirals, and others that are still alive to take the Galaxy and rebuild the Empire their way.

However, Jaskia also has hidden Jedi on another planet that she has been training for years, for back up and assistance in the future.

Also, a threat is posed to the Rebel leaders; that being Mara Jade. Not many know that she exists, but after the murder of her master and near-destruction of what she devoted her life to, she is looking for revenge and plans to assassinate every single Rebel and Ghost she can find.

After Coruscant is taken, Princess/Soon-To-Be Chief of State Leia Organa must get the Senate under control. However, one problem to Leia is that she will have some Imperial supporters left, not to mention known ones that could even try and make an offensive move against the New Republic/Rebel Alliance. Leia then hires bounty hunters to take care of these problems, but she may have her own assassnation problems to worry about: Along with Mara Jade, the Hutts and Imperials have sent hunters after her first of all, because she is currently the most powerful figure in the Galaxy political-wise.

Leia seeks out a very powerful man, who controls one of the most resourceful and powerful(now that the Empire is gone) systems in the Galaxy to help stabilize the New Republic. But what she, and no one else knows is that this man is psychotic. He is obsessed with women, and kills them after he marries them and has had enough of them! He tells Leia he will only agree to help the New Republic if Darrina marries him! Darrina is reluctant to do it, but finally gives in and begins to live a life of torture under this man.

Luke Skywalker grieves for his father, but he presses on and works on rebuilding the JedI Order. First of all he must rebuild the temple on Coruscant, and since the Ghosts are currently occupied with securing the rest of the Galaxy, he must go out on his own with little assistance to find more Force Sensitives for the New Order.

Han Solo is still madly in love with Leia, and for the time being, is appointed Head of Security of Coruscant. While Han may not like this particular position, he is allowed to handle things “his way”. He must go after high Imperial figures that remain on Coruscant since it would be more useful for the Bounty Hunters to go off world, and handle the active criminal life on Coruscant. But he might just end up discovering some information on the Hutts/Imperials plans.

The Emperor and Darth Vader may be dead, but the battle for freedom is far from over in Survival, Dark Times 2...

PS: This is only the beginning stages of the RP, there will be many more twists, excitement, and probably even more characters as this RP goes on. And some things in this outline I gave might even change a bit, but we’ll see!

One last PS: The cast list might change as the RP goes along, I doubt people will be taken out, but we might add some more characters in. GHOST:

Name: Ursan Rafin
Character: Somewhat of a cocky individual, however he finds it easy to keep a level head. He prefers to keep his feelings in and remains a very secretive person.
Bio: Born to poor Tatooine natives, Ursan lived a somewhat troubled life. Where ever he went, trouble seemed to follow. After he was discovered by a jedi master he was taken for training on Datooine, where he trained until his mid twenties. It was later discovered that his average fighting tactics gave way to is excellent force abilities.

He is a relatively small man, yet is considered impressively intelligent by some. In his free time he is currently working on a lightsaber of a custom build. He is currently 45 years old

Name: Miko Kets
Character: Cynical and almost unbelievably malevolent. He is willing to do anything to accomplish his goals.
Bio: Miko was born to a rich crime lord on the world of Coruscant. After spending years learning the tricks of the trade, he killed his father in cold blood, believe that it was what he had to do. He was 14 at the time. Over the next 20 years he spent time slowly building his crime empire, quickly become rich in the process. He has hidden by creating the Ket's corperation, a small speeder bike manufacturing company

He has killed many, however, not directly, preferring to let others handle his dirty work. Some believe he has untapped force abilities, however he pushes them aside with his holier-than-thou attitude.

We'll have to put Miko on a planet other than Coruscant. Supposedly he holds great influence over it, becoming a king of sorts, there. He could have the criminal background, but I don't think the Jedi should know that.

Nick Rostu was a Korun male who fought in the Summertime War. He was a nidôsh (clan-child, or orphan) of Ghôsh Rostu. Like all Korunnai, he was Force-sensitive.

Rostu spent much of his childhood in Pelek Baw, the experiences there later making him a good officer in the ULF. Despite this, Kar Vastor frequently insulted him for his actions that Mace Windu perceived as noble.

Nick generally had an irreverent aura. He was frequently taunting and sarcastic and often asked Mace Windu if he was crazy. However, he could be a ruthless fighter and cheerful companion. The Summertime War was hard on him; Chalk, the girl he had hoped to marry, was killed while he and Mace tried to apprehend Kar Vastor.
Nick began his career an admirer of Vastor's. However, after spending his time with Windu, he had on multiple occasions expressed a desire (and even attempted) to shoot Vastor.

Nick was dispatched by Depa Billaba to find Mace after Mace arrived in Pelek Baw. Along with Lesh, Besh, and Chalk, Nick rescued Mace from an ambush and took him upcountry into the jungle. Battling militia gunship attacks, fever wasps, and other hazards, they reached Billaba's camp. Nick was later appointed by Mace Windu to be his aide, an arrangement that would later annoy both of them.

Nick Rostu had planned to leave Harrun Kal and become a mercanary, this being his main reason to accept Mace Windu's appointment, as he had told this to Mace Windu.
Nick served in the Battle of Pelek Baw and the Battle of Haruun Kal with distinction, manning heavy weapons emplacements and fighting with two slug-throwers. In the final engagement against Kar Vastor and his Akk Guards, Nick helped account for at least three of the six massive warriors. Although severely wounded, he stopped Depa Billaba from killing herself. Nick was taken back to Coruscant with Mace Windu.

Although Jedi Master Mace Windu only appointed Rostu to the rank of Brevet Major, a recommendation was put to the Galactic Senate to have it confirmed and to also nominate him for a Medal of Valor for his actions on Haruun Kal.

Post-Shatterpoint

Rostu got his medal and resigned from active duty before the Temple was attacked. Horrified that the Jedi would attempt an assassination attempt on the Chanceller--he partly believed it, he had no good feelings for the man--and scared that someone within the Chancellor's circle had been able to defeat Mace Windu, Rostu retired back to his home on Harrun Kal.

On Harrun Kal, Rostu and his new girlfriend had a son. Rostu named him Mace after his deceased idol. He left his girlfriend soon after to become a mercenary once more, specializing in tasks against the Empire. During an operation, Mara Jade tracked him down and worked with him for a short time, engrossed by his tales of the Empire's corruption. Rostu and Jade became grudging friends, and Jade bade him to quit his job and wait for her call. She would need his help again.

Rostu went back to Harrun Kal to find his girlfriend dead and his son begging on the streets. Rostu realized he could not let his son live in such a place, and brought him away to Corellia to raise him proper. He is currently there now, a high-ranking CSF officer.

What me and HK talked about was that, let's say that Miko has large influences in a large, large part of the galaxy. What he asks for must be done, ect. He must appear to be a good-hearted politician to his peers (ie, Leia, Mon Mothma and co.) Here's what it says in the outline:

Name: Admiral Desh Jarek
Occupation: Imperial admiral and member of the Imperial Council
Age: 41

An intelligent man of reasonably short stature. He joined the imperials when he was only 18. One of the main reasons he joined was because he believed in what they stood for. Power. Might. The strong defeating the weak. In his eyes that was the way it should be.

He became a Sargent in just one year and a captain in another two. He became a lieutenant at the age of 29 and High Lieutenant at 31. Ten years on he is an Imperial Admiral and one of the highest figures in the Empire as he is a member of the Imperial council based on Coruscant.

He is also a hardened war veteran and has fought in many battles. He is excellent at debating and is nigh unbeatable when it comes to a battle of words. He has an ice cold stare and could frighten most people with just a glance. He radiates authority and demands respect.

I was thinking that maybe the Home One and co. could raid the surrounding military facilities before the attack on Coruscant. Withdraw the Empire's short-range military support. I read a book about a Coruscanti moon holding a clone trooper military base with over a few million troops. What if Palpatine kept the same base, but supplied it with stormtroopers instead? The Ghosts could work their sabotage-magic and then the entire Rebel Alliance could attack them. Cut off transmissions, make negotiations, ect.

Make negotiations? You mean like hostages?

Well, maybe the Rebel's could cut the base's transmissions out of their part of space, and then try and negotiate a peaceful solution. The guys could agree or disagree. We could say a team of Jedi had already infiltrated the base before the Home One made its' presence known. If the guys disagree, the Jedi could take over the station.
