First of all, I got this idea from a fanfic I read several weeks ago on FF.net. I just changed some things around a bit, to make it more "original" so to speak, so I can't be accused of copying someone else's work. Plus I had to change things around anyway, to make it more compatible with Star Trek. So basically, here's the thing:
The main human OC character--who I think I will play--is Sakura. She was kidnapped by the Decepticons as an experiment, to see if they could use organic beings merged with their own technology (a human/machine hybrid, in other words) to sort of create a new kind of army... ones that could fight, but also slip into places unseen and infiltrate areas for information.
But... Sakura was merely meant to be a prototype, and somehow or other she managed to escape, so she gets rescued by the Enterprise.... and has to recover from her emotional and pyschological wounds--because she might consider herself a FREAK, being half-machine now
But I'm thinking... it could turn out she's Spock's cousin, and he could help her through this because he's half human and knows what it's like to be different
Anyway... she recovers a bit, and agrees to help the Enterprise in any way she can, so that the Decepticons can't do this to anyone else. But there's something wrong with her....
For some reason it's like she's slowly dying, but no one knows why or what to do, because her machine-half is completely alien to everyone. Eventually.... they find the station where she got experimented on, so that they can hopefully put a stop to this. She goes aboard with the boarding party from the Enterprise, so that she can (hopefully) help them find their way around, but she's getting weaker and slowly dying.
While they are there, they find another human like Sakura, (another hybrid) only she attacks them on sight, and they have no choice but to kill her with a mulitiple phaser fire. Also she looks like she has some kind of weird body armor on her, that is tough for even their weapons to penetrate, but they manage to kill her. And then....
After they confirm the woman is dead, something comes off of her back, something that looks like a small robot, and it looks at everyone, and then before anyone can stop it, it leaps at Sakura....
And then it attaches itself to HER back... (or maybe the nape of her neck, just under her skull...)
But then she seems to... improve. She starts to feel stronger again, and a medical tricorder shows that her body is getting stronger, and she doesn't seem to be dying anymore....
It will later turn out that.... This was Decepticon design. Basically... here's what's going on:
The Decepticons made it so that the human hybrids they made would require these smaller robots attached to them, because the human brain can't handle all of the complexities of running a robotic body. And well, the little robots are designed to help out with this, to keep everything running smoothly, but also, in order to help make sure they stay loyal and do their jobs... the little robots are designed to, well... NEED a human in order to survive, because they leech some energy off of a human--only enough to survive, not enough to impair their human host in any way. So basically, it works like symbiosis.
And well.... the only reason why that little robot went to Sakura was because the peopel from the Enterprise killed its human, and it needed another one--and there weren't any others that needed a robot like itself, so it chose Sakura, and obviously, she needed it >.>
And it's name is Alpha-tech. It's sentient, it's self-aware, intelligent, and has it's own personality... in fact.... I was even thinking that maybe it and Sakura might not even get along too well. Like, they NEED each other, but... don't like each other very much like... their personalities could grate on each other. Like... Sakura could have a more passive personality, someone who doesn't like to fight unless she has to, and certainly won't kill unless there is no other option. But Alpha-tech is only interested in self-preservation, and it can't control Sakura in every single way, but it will strongly disapprove if she chooses not to kill, or if she seems to put herself in danger to try and save someone else.
Now, I am not sure how many of these human OC hybrids will be around, but I'm thinking... maybe about five or so would do... or maybe even just a couple, working for the Decepticons. After all, they are just "prototypes" so the Decepticons haven't had time to make many yet, and I don't feel like having tons and tons of OC humans around to have to keep track of in the RP plot, LOL.
And well, each human will have their own little robot--Sakura's is named Alpha-tech, so I was thinking the other robots for the other humans could be named Beta-tech and Gamma-tech.
Sakura will ultimately ally herself with the Autobots, helping them to stop the Decepticons from what they are doing. She will also aide the Federation. I was thinking maybe she could even play a key factor in helping the establish good relations between the Federation and the Autobots, even by introducing her Uncle, Ambassador Sarek, to the leader of the Autobots--Optimus Prime.
So, without further ago.... here's the cast list, more or less:
Enterprise crew
