Hungry for something you can't have?

Okay, maybe this is a silly topic. And maybe I am just posting this because I'm going through this right at this moment. *snort*

But, how many times have you had a time when you feel ravenous, but it's like you want something very specific.... which is not in the kitchen, and you don't have access too and will not have anytime soon? *snort*

For example, I am hungry right now and will be having dinner within the next hour or so. But what I'd really like to have is some nice fresh kiwi and/or some McDonalds french fries. However, the only choices I have this evening are pork chops and either veggetables, pasta, or maybe baked potatos.

So I ask you... why can't I just crave something that is, you know, actually IN the kitchen? *snort*
