Olee
We all agreed with Naos, and continued racing along the corridors of the ship.
Suddenly, I stopped.
Han was the first to notice. "Olee? What's wrong?" I didn't reply right away. Instead I glanced up at Naos. I could tell from his expression that he could sense it too.
"A large number of Jedi on this ship just... vanished..." I said in bewilderment. "A moment ago I could sense them, but now they are gone."
"Gone?" Han questionned. "You mean they're dead?"
My honest answer was that I didn't have a clue. "I... they could be living or dead for all I know. You see, if they died, Naos and I would feel it, through the Force. But this is different. It's like their Force signatures have vanished. Something has eclipsed their ability to use the Force."
"What?!" Han exclaimed. "I mean, is that even possible?"
I nodded. "Unfortunately, yes. There are a minute number of devices, objects and even living things that block out the Force in a certain radius. Sora must have got one of them on this ship."
Han looked shocked. "Theres that bad feeling again."
Serra
I scoffed to myself as I heard the name of the ship. It brought back memories. Memories I would rather forget. It still bothered me. Not the memories themselves, but rather what I couldn't remember. A large chunk of my life was just gone. I remembered being defeated by the traitor Anakin Skywalker, or should I say Darth Vader, years ago, and after that, waking up in the New Republic medbay with Dr Divini staring down at me in amazement. What we did work out was that I was pretty much an Imperial weapon, probably sanctioned by Vader himself.
Viper.
That was what they called me...
I shook my head, snapping out of my thoughts. There would be a time for them, but right now we had more urgent buisness.
I looked over at Leia. It was clear from her expression that she was focussed and calm. I admired her for that. I was trained as a Jedi, we were known for our calm demeanor. But even I would be a wreck in her situation.
I then turned to Selas, and gave him a supporting nod, as he went to talk into the ships comlink.
This was it.
Time to surrender...

Dawn
He silently boosted through the open space, drawing closer to the ship with each second. Once he was within reach, he twisted around till he was heading for it feet first and activated the magnets in the soles of his boots, sticking to the outside of the hull like a fly to a wall.
Slowly, he began his climb to the top of the ship.
Selas
He walked into the main hold and stood before the communications device that was placed there. He was a quiet for a moment, quickly glancing at Kossk and Serra. Even R2 beeped at him from the corner of the room. He nodded back at Serra and took a deep breath, then began to speak.
"This is Captain Selas Taban of the Killer, formerly second-in-command to Sora Trok, former Captain of the Killer. I have with me Kossk, the Trandoshan; Serra, former Imperial weapon; and Leia Organa, former princess of Alderann. We've talked amongst each other for some time regarding our... situation with the New Republic, and we've decided, together, that the best solution..." he paused and took a deep breath. "...is total surrender."

Sora
I listened quietly, standing beside the communications officer, as Selas, my one time good friend, spoke. I rose an eyebrow; surrender was not what I would normally expect. What game was he trying to play with me? It had to have been a lie; he had such a strange group with him. Kossk wasn't surprising, but Serra? And Leia?
Wait, Leia; a woman I considered my daughter. Someone who had been a far better child to me than my actual children.
She never confronted me; I assumed that she'd run off, too, but if perhaps she saw sense...
She was always one of the smartest around, and she was her mother's daughter. At least, one could only hope.
I was still suspicious, but I could give them a chance.
"They can come onboard, but they are to come straight to the Bridge. No weapons," I whispered to the comm officer.
He nodded. "Captain Taban, you have permission to come aboard; Supreme Admiral Trok has accepted your surrender, but you are to come straight to the Bridge, and leave all your weapons in the docking bay."
Naos
I raised an eyebrow, concerned; I felt what Olee was feeling, no doubt. And these sudden disappearances were moving every second. "She's right," I agreed. "This is disturbing; without the Force, the Jedi are not helpless, but very limited. Suddenly losing our abilities would take any one of us off guard. We need to get to the Council before much more time passes."
"You still have a ways to go, Master Redgrave," Threepio chimed in over our comlinks. "So I'd advise moving quickly!"
I nodded, and we all took off once again down the halls. Suddenly, however, blaster shots came our way, and I ignited my lightsaber. I whirled around to see Sora's men converging on our position.
"Come on, let's keep going," I said, trying to deflect some shots their way.
Rhynna
We continued our march throughout the Valor, shooting the Force-deprived Jedi along the way. I entered another room, where several Jedi stood, waiting; they all were overpowered by the Ysalamir's abilities, and immediately began to dodge our shots using their physical bodies. The Jedi were probably warming to our tactics.
Still, it wouldn't take much to get them out of our way.
All of us fired mercilessly at the Jedi, killing them one by one. The last remaining one attempted to roll out of the room, but I shot him just in time.
"Continue to fan out," I told the soldiers, motioning to the multiple exits.
I walked to the door straight ahead, and opened it to see another Jedi on the other end; he was about to come through the door himself. He was calm and determined, but once his Force powers faded, a look of horror crossed his face, similar with all of the others.
I didn't have time to analyze his reaction, though; simply raising my fist to his face, I knocked him clear to the floor, before giving him a clean kill shot.
I threw several grenades ahead of us, and they exploded within seconds, slaughtering the oncoming Jedi. After that, we pressed on.

Kurt
He looked over at Volt and got her attention.
"I'm going to go into stealth and pick them off around the backside. It'll be better if I go alone, as well. Less people with me means more time trying to figure out exactly where I am," he said.
Volt nodded in approval and Kurt took off, activating his stealth camouflage as he went. He half walked/half crouched his way through the back hallways towards Naos and his group. He saw them quickly dispatch a few of Sora's soldiers that had moved on ahead, and he quickly deactivated his field.
"Naos, come here!" he whispered.
Selas
He ran towards the cockpit and took a seat once more, and began to pilot the ship up towards the docking bay entrance. He guided the Killer inside, slowly bringing it down as he engaged the landing gear. The ship jolted a bit as they landed, the engines whirring quietly before going completely silent. Satisfied, Selas went back to the main hold and looked at the others.
"This is it," he said.

Olee
It seemed like no time as all until Sora's men were on us. I noticed that very little of the former CoruSec troops were recognisable. Sora must have got many new recruits, and in such a short space of time too... it made me whonder what kind of people they were.
The kind that joined up to an army for one reason. To kill. Mercenaries.
Well so be it. I wouldn't hold back.
I activated both sides of my double bladed purple lightsaber and leapt into action. Luckily for us, whatever was blocking the Force was not in our general area. Of course, that meant that it wasn't so lucky for our enemies.
I ducked under a few bolts from the the first trooper and took out his legs, beforre spinning around and delivering an elbow to the face as he fell. I then stood upright again and paired up with Naos to unleash a wave of energy through the Force which knocked our attackers off their feet. They barely had time to get up as we wasted no time in dispatching them. Han seemed particularly eager, his dual DL-44 blaster pistols firing blast after blast. The few men that did manage to get up found themselves face to face with a Wookiee who had attained quite the temper after one of the enemy's bolts had grazed his abdomen.
Soon enough there was silence. The only sounds that could be heard were the echoing thuds of battle on other parts of the ship. And the na faint, whispering sound. I could have sworn I heard it mention Naos.
Han spun around first, his blasters in front of him, aiming straight at our companion.
"Who's ther-" The ex-smuggler began, but he was stopped by the sight of the ma who stood in front of him. "Kurt?"
Leia
This was it. No turning back. We had to get this right. I didn't want to think about what would happen if we didn't.
I looked back at the device behind us.
"So..." I said to the others as they were preparing to disembark. "How do we get that thing to the bridge without anyone noticing?"

Naos
I stared at Kurt for a few seconds after the fighting had ended; I knew that Kurt was on our side, so this was very risky. If anyone saw us talking, his cover could be blown. I looked at the others before quickly rushing up to Kurt, knowing that we didn't have any time to spare.
"Kurt," I whispered. "What is it?"
Kossk
"A good question, former Princess," I said, walking out of the Main Hold and to the exit ramp. "I will examine the surroundings of our bodies."
I began to open the exit ramp, and I examined the area through the Force; some bodies were around, but not too many. The former Captain's body was no doubt on guard due to our bodies' arrival, but his attention was stretched in several different directions.
My body walked down the ramp, and I saw two bodies, dressed in guards' uniforms, approaching with blasters in the hands of their bodies.
"Halt," their bodies commanded. "The Supreme Admiral sent us here to escort you to-"
"Our bodies are quite capable of getting there ourselves," I hissed, raising my hand and quickly shoving both of their bodies into the cold metal wall. It would not kill their bodies, but it would knock their bodies and minds unconscious for a short time.
The rest of the docking bay was empty, and I could not feel any bodies in our immediate area.
I darted back onto the Killer. "Come, the coast is clear. Let our bodies take the device and move quickly!"

Selas
He smiled just a bit when he saw what Kossk had done. "Alright, grab that device," he commanded, speaking to the two soldiers they had bought along. Selas took the lead with Kossk, while the others trailed after them, the device in the center of the group.
"No doubt Sora is going to be pissed when he sees us on the cameras," he said.
Kurt
"I'll make this fast. Volt is up ahead with the bulk of the soldiers and she's heading right this way with a dangerous weapon." He looked around to make sure none of Sora's men were on their way in. "It's some sort of creature, a type of lizard that dulls the abilities of those who are force sensitive. Think of a radar jammer, except for Jedi."
He moved past the group and glanced down the hallway. "I can't risk helping you by slowing them down any..." he said, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a couple of wall mines, "... but I can give you these. Put them just on the other side of a door that you know they'll be coming through and they won't realize it's there till it beeps."

Han
"Nice." I said as I looked at the mines, "Thanks Kurt. Hey , how is WInt-"
I was interupted as more blasts could be heard. This time they were clearly closer to us. I sighed. "Never mind. You better get out of here before you blow your cover."
"I agree." Olee added, "Thanks Kurt. Not just for the mines, but for everything you have done so far, and everything you'll have to do in the future."
Leia
I held my blaster firmly in my right hind, which remained hidden under the diplomatic white garment I was wearing, my left hand still visible. I doubted we would make it all the way to the bridge without running into trouble.
"Well. he can be as annoyed as he wants." I stated in response to Selas' conclusion, "We still have to stop him."
"I'll take the rear, and guard that device from the back." Serra said as she fell back behind the soldiers.
"Good idea." I told her, before looking forwards again and continuing my quick stride. "So, how do you think Han and the others are doing?"

Naos
I nodded, taking the mines. "Olee's right, Kurt; thank you. It's truly appreciated," I said, also looking at the mines. They would definitely come in handy. The blasts were indeed getting closer by the second, so I nodded at the others. "We'd better get going; we need to get to the Council. Kurt, give Winter our best."
With that, I turned and ran off in the other direction, everyone except for Kurt following behind me.
I came to a door, and quickly opened it; I ushered everyone inside, and after they were all in, I closed the door and planted two wall mines on it. The NR soldiers would have a very nice welcoming once they opened the door.
"Okay, let's keep going," I said to the others, before accessing my comlink. "Threepio, how close are we to the Council chambers?"
"You're growing closer, Master Redgrave, but I'm afraid you still have some travelling to do," the protocol droid replied.
"Then let's get to it," I said with a deep breath.
Rhynna
We continued our charge throughout the Valor; the soldiers had all split off evenly across the transport. The entire ship would be covered soon; we'd lost a fair amount of men and women, but we still had enough to overwhelm the Jedi. Everything was going according to the Supreme Admiral's wishes.
I rounded a corner, and shot down several of the helpless Jedi. I continued on, until I heard some moaning and groaning on the ground. I came to a hault, and the soldiers behind me stopped. I looked down.
A young Jedi Knight lied there, injured and beaten; his torso was bloody, and he was coughing.
He looked up at me with disgust. "This is peace? This is freedom? This is justice?" he spat. "We have always been nothing but fair to you, and you do this to our Order?"
Several soldiers pointed their blasters at him, and I kept my own trained on him.
"Go ahead," he said. "Kill me."
"It's not my job to sympathize with you," I said in a monotone, staring at the man for a moment.
Finally, I put my blaster down. "But it's not my job to murder you, either."
I looked at the soldiers behind me. "We're wasting our time here; leave him, and let's keep moving. The Council has to be close."
Kossk
"Good, the bodies are positioned perfectly," I commented as our bodies made our way into the halls of the former Captain's flagship. Captain Taban's body and my own were in the front, the former Princess' body was near the center with the soldiers' bodies, as well as the astromech droid's small body, and the cyborg's body was in the back. "As for the bodies of our friends on the Jedi's ship, our minds can only hope that their bodies are performing well under such extreme circumstances. I fear that many bodies are being deprived of life as we speak."
Our bodies continued walking, and we ran into the bodies of several more New Republic officers along the way; their bodies were prepared to attack, but my own body was able to knock them out with a Force push.

Kurt
He nodded and watched as the group ran off. He turned around and opened the door behind him, noticing Volt's group at the other end of the hallway about to head through another door. He whistled to get their attention.
"They went this way," he shouted, pointing to his right at the door Naos and the others had just went through. "I saw Solo and his friends with them. No doubt that if we take the same route, they'll lead us right to the council chambers."
---------
Selas
He glanced over at the Trandoshan. "You're a real speed demon today," he smirking. "I've not even enough time to activate my saber."
He looked up near the ceiling at one of the cameras mounted there. No doubt Sora was distracted, or the place would have entered lockdown by now, thus making their job that much harder.

Leia
"STOP!" I heard a woman shout. I looked behind me to see one of the guards that Kossk had knocked down had got back up.
The woman looked scared. Not like the most of the others. Perhaps she was one of the original CoruSec members, who didn't manage to get out. I felt for her. But we still had to deal with her.
I revealed my blaster, which was set to stun, and shiot her. She collapsed instantly, and we were free to go on. I let myself wonder for a moment if Winter was here. In a way I hoped she was, as I wished tosee her again, and it would let me know she was alright. After all, she hadn't been in contact with us in about three weeks. But maybe thats because she had nothing to report, and she was smart enough to know that calling for small talk was an unnescessary risk. The rest of me didn't want her here. It would put her in a terrible position, and her cover would more than likely be blown.
"We're getting closer to the bridge." Serra commented. "We turn left just ahead, and the bridge is at the end of the long corridor we will enter."
Han
We kept going, following Threepio's directions. The fact that we hadn't ran into trouble in a while indicated that we were ahead of Sora's forces. Soon enough we were at our location.
"Thats it!" Olee exclaimed, pointing at an opening up ahead, "Thats the Council chamber!"
I grinned. About time too. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Naos
"Yes, the Council chambers are straight ahead. Do be careful," Threepio told us all.
"We will. Thanks for the help, Threepio," I said, trying to stay calm and confident. All of us darted forward and through the opening, charging fight into the Council chambers.
Barriss, along with the rest of the Council, stood in the center of the room. They looked to be on guard, but they didn't seem surprised by our arrival. Just relieved. "Master Redgrave, Master Starstone, Captain Solo," Barriss said with a smile. "I felt all of you getting closer; thank you so much for risking your lives to come to our aid."
"We may not be coming with you to Tython," I said, gesturing to Olee and myself. "But we still care about this Order. We're...still apart of the Jedi."
"I am glad to know you see that," Barriss said. Her face then turned more serious. "This entire situation is concerning. As I'm sure you know, Sora has sent something on board that is blocking out the Force from many of the Jedi fighting. He is determined to force us into surrendering."
"That's why we're here to get all of you out of here before Sora's forces show up," I told her with a nod. "We can get the Council off the ship via the Falcon."
"What about the other Jedi? There are many fighting valiantly for us, Master Redgrave, and I refuse to leave them here while the Council hides and runs," Barriss commented.
"We'll get them out of here, but the Council is a top priority. You are who Sora wants to get to," I reminded her.
"I suppose you are right; come, there is no more time to talk. All of us must get to the Millenium Falcon," she declared, looking at the rest of the Council. They all nodded in agreement.
I looked at Han. "Han, you and the others get the Council back to your ship safely," I said. I'd made a decision; I needed to stay here for now. It was a hard decision to make, and perhaps I wasn't even the right one to stay behind, but I felt like I needed to. I felt like I needed to stay behind and do my duty. "I'll catch up to all of you later; I'm going to stay here and hold off Sora's forces."
I owed at least that much to the Jedi Order.
Rhynna
Following Jervada's directions, the soldiers and myself immediately ran to the door that he'd pointed us towards; I looked around, making sure the area was secure, before opening the door.
However, before I could do anything else, a fairly large explosion sent all of us flying backwards. I felt my head hit the wall, and everything around me was pounding. Nonetheless, I didn't have any time to spare; I had a job to do for the New Republic, and I intended to do it, no matter what.
I stood up, coughing slightly. I glanced behind me to see if the Ysalamir had survived, and thankfully, it was still alive. The Supreme Admiral's old friends had used mines, no doubt, and they had managed to take out most of the soldiers still with me.
But we'd press on.
I looked at Jervada. "Come on, the Council chambers are up ahead," I said, before storming off, with him and the last few soldiers following.
Sora
I stood on the Bridge of the Viper, watching the battle, and waiting for my former allies to arrive; normally, I would have watched their every move on camera, but there was too much at stake for me to turn my attention to them. I still wasn't sure how truthful they were being, but I had far too much on my mind: The battle had grown very intense.
There was a fire fight going on between my own fighters and the fighters that the Falcon and the Killer had brought; that had put a major delay in the attack of the Jedi transports. The Falcon had decided to board the Valor, as well, and I hadn't heard anything from Rhynna or Kurt.
"Has there been any status update from the Valor?" I asked. Rhynna needed to convince them to surrender soon, before anything more got out of hand.
"No, sir," the communications officer replied.
I scowled. And what sort of game were my former friends, and family, playing? What was their aim? Some were obviously against me, yet some had surrendered. I could only hope that Leia had talked some sense into a few of them at least, and that it wasn't some sort of alternate plan.
I heard the door to the bridge whirl open, and I turned around to see Selas and Kossk entering first, with the others, as well as something, behind them.
Several gasps escaped some of the crews' mouths, and I stared at the object for a few seconds, before realizing what it was: An EMP.
"What is the meaning of all of this?" I asked darkly.

Kurt
He brushed some of of the shrapnel off of him, kicking a charred arm out of his way. Deep in his heart, he wished Volt had gotten killed as well, or at least injured, but no doubt Sora would have been pissed beyond all reasoning. Besides, she was merely victim of Sora's mind machine. His great siege weapon against the protectors of the Old Republic was a mental one, after all.
Kurt coughed some of the smoke out of his lungs and followed Volt towards the chambers.
----------
Selas
"This is your last chance to stop this madness, Sora," he said, his eyes narrowing. "Your last chance to turn things around for the New Republic and make things right. This... this bickering between us, it's not needed. It's foolish, and immature. The lot of us have been through a lot together, old friend. To regress to this state is most disheartening."
A thud sounded as the two soldiers sat the bomb down. Selas turned and quickly tapped a few keys on the device, and a five minute countdown started.
"Either way, this ship, nor the other, is going anywhere."
-------------
Dawnbringer
The cyborg sat his bomb on top of the ship, just below the junction where the ship's bridge jutted out into space. He too, set a timer on it, but this one was much smaller, at only a minute. Satisfied, he turned to face Sora's vessel and jettisoned off towards it, heading right for the bridge.

Leia
"He's right Sora." I said, more determined than ever. "This has gone far enough. I mean attacking the Jedi? You weren't even provoked!"
Olee
Han looked shocked. "What? Naos no-"
"Let him stay Han." I interupted, pulling Han back by the shoulder. I didn't like the idea of Naos staying behind. but I could see from the look in his eyes that his mind had been made up. We didn't have time to convince him otherwise/ Strangely though, I felt as if everything would be alright. Naos had come so far on his journey through life to fall here. Then again, not everyone was a lucky as Han.
"I'm not leaving anyone behind!" Han protested, pulling away.
"Han!" I exclaimed, forcefully pulling him back. "We need to go. We have to get off this ship now."
Han froze for a moment. "Fine... but I don't like this."
"Neither do I..." I mumbled solemnly. I looked at Naos, and gave him a nod. "Good luck, Naos. May the Force be with you." I looked back to Han, Chewie and the Council members. "Alright, let's go."

Sora
I stared at the small group, bewildered and enraged. How could they do this? Barge onto my ship and threaten me, when I almost believed that they'd seen sense? "Leia," I croaked out, stung and infuriated by this. I looked into her eyes, and saw Padme's staring back at me. "Not you too. Don't tell me that their nonsense got to you too."
"Our bodies do not have time for this, former Captain," Kossk said. "Your mind must see sense!"
"The only thing that Selas and I agree on is the fact that we've regressed to this," I snapped, venom flying off of my tongue. "You all still cannot see what I need to do to ensure peace and freedom."
I looked at my daughter again. "Surely you agree with me; perhaps you're only leading them on. Don't betray me like all of my other children have."
Naos
I watched the group go, knowing that they'd be alright, and hopefully, I would be. Nonetheless, I had to do this; I needed to make my actions up to the Jedi, and myself, and this was the way to do it. Let the Council get to safety, and I would handle Sora's forces when they got here. I'd face the New Republic with my head held high.
A short time ago, I didn't have this confidence, but extreme situations forced you to be strong.
The door to the Council chambers came flying open, and a tall, slender, blonde-haired woman walked in. She looked determined; behind her came Kurt, and a few soldiers. She examined the room, blaster in hand, before looking at me.
"Where is the Council?" she asked, extremely cold.
"You're too late, I'm afraid," I replied, putting on an apologetic tone. "The Council is gone, and you'll have to deal with me."
"I need to speak with Grandmaster Offee. Otherwise, your Jedi will be stuck here," she said.
"You'll have to settle for speaking with me. I'm Naos Redgrave."
"Ah," she said. "The previous Grandmaster."
"And you are?" I asked.
"Rhynna Volt, Coruscant Head of Security," she answered. Now that she knew who I was, she seemed more content with just me being here.
"Han's successor," I said with a nod. "I see you've done an amazing job of keeping the integrity and honor that he had on the security force."
"We have some things to discuss pertaining the Order, Master Redgrave, and if I can't find Grandmaster Offee, then you will have to do," Rhynna said, before glancing to Kurt. "Jervada, get out your gun. We may need it."
