Oh perfect! I hope these walls aren't paper-thin, or she's going to know my dreams soon enough. "Look sister, can you please trust me to stand and walk on my own?" Niko said doing his best to stand up and wrestle her grip from his collar. Damn, this woman is hard to get off. She's like a wine stain on my first lab coat.
The prospect of having a guardian nun was unsurprisingly somewhat new to Niko, so he had some questions as well. "And look, what exactly would qualify as a sin?" he inquired "Like, supposing I was to invite one of those five girls back here?"

Sister Ethea pulled Niko up and finally let him go, but then slapped him with her Bible as they walked back to the hotel. "How dare you! God did not create us so we could run around having unmarried meetings with other men and women! Believe me, I have sinned like that before, and regret it everyday of my life! What would Miss Jinkins say if she knew what you were saying right now?!?!!" Sister Ethea yelled

Miss Jinkins, who the-? "All right all right, I understand." Niko groaned, straightening out and cracking his neck "Anything above first base with a member of the opposite gender, bad." Which is totally a load of garbage because that red Twi'lek was so digging me. The two of them made their way up the stairs and Niko procured his key from his pocket.
Sliding it into the console, he did his best not to think about her. But no matter how hard he tried, he could feel her hateful gaze upon his back. "Well then, here we are. And I suppose, here we'll stay." Niko said with only the slightest hint of displeasure in his voice "I suppose you might as well come in to inspect my belongings for sinful literature, of which you'll find none."
Niko didn't realize he had forgotten to delete the fic clipping of the hero and the Twi'lek making love in the stock room from his computer.

"You are right. I have to make sure you aren't disobeying our Lord in Heaven anymore than you already have!" Sister Ethea exclaimed as she walked in, looked around, and she still didn't find anything until she looked at his laptop, and her eyes widened "You are filthier than I thought!"
She rushed over to Niko and started beating him with her Bible again.

OOC: w00t, go Ethea!

Abbi had a few tricks up her sleeve born of countless bored nights on her computer. Thanks to those, she managed to disable the wireless tracker built in every datapad and even uninstalled a program monitoring it. She might not have been as good with computers as Houston or Niko, but she could hold he own against another plain civvie.
I wanted to be in the Grand Army, she thought sadly, sitting crosslegged in her new room while Ko'hler talked to her new family downstairs. Imperial Army now... Jedi can't be that bad, can they? They touched so many people, and they're so kind...
Scary. It was scarier than Palpatine's new face.
And Niko. How was he still alive? She didn't risk a message yet in case they decided to come check up on her, but she did sign on to MSN and turned the sound to mute.

Niko had been leaning up against the wall, with his arms crossed and wasn't expecting the sound smack across his face. It spun him almost completely around.
"OW! Agh! Geez, what is the matter?!" Niko exclaimed, raising his hands to protect his face "How am I supposed to live alongside someone with as much tolerance for freedom of speech as that disfigured clam face, Palpatine?" Then Niko realized he was putting his wrist device in danger again, so he quickly turned his back and undid the straps, throwing it on the bed.
Now that he thought about it, he might want to upgrade his computer again as well. Fingerprint and iris activation, with a little shock for intruders. He could have been rid of Sister Sadistic thirty seconds ago.
"Uh look, maybe we got off kind of bad. Let's try and start again, yes?" Niko was backing into the corner and talking very fast. Once his back hit the wall he came to a realization and raised his hands again. "And look, sister. I'd also appreciate it if you didn't let Abbi know I was at that place once we catch up. She's just so young and I'm not like that around her. I don't know how she'd take it."
The mere thought of Abbi finding out, which had been all but forgotten when his wild side took hold, was enough to crush that personality back into the reaches of his mind.

Abbi tapped her fingers impatiently on the datapad, waiting for somebody of her group to sign on while listening to the people below talking. "HK, RJ, whoever is out there..." she muttered in a slightly sing-song voice.

"I refuse to pollute a potential servant of the Lord with these sinful ideas and sick fantasies that Satan gives you!" Sister Ethea yelled, slapping him with the Bible again "Now, speaking of that girl, its about time we go get her. God doesn't want her there for too long."

OOC: Go. Ethea. Go. Ethea. w00t

Abbi looked down at teh notification panel and her heart did a backflip.
Hai, HK! she typed, trying to sound perfectly normal.
She began to figure out how the convo would play out. Just chilling at my aunt's... won't be on much... miss you guys... yes, yes, will RP later...

Deej saw a convo with Abbi popped up. He sighed in instant relief at her being okay. Abbi...how are you? Whats going on? Niko told me about the explosion at your school and I heard about that family murdered on Corellia near where you were staying... he IMed quickly and furiously

Abbi's shoulder drooped.
Great. Now they all know.
She typed quickly and furiously.
I'm fine, I'm fine. Niko's fine, too, he's staying close to me in a hotel. She didn't want to tell him that the family murdered was actually her own. She doubted the full story had even aired on Borelias like it had on Corellia, alongside the profiles of each victim. Has the casuality list been reported there yet? Is Reza still alive?

Deej remembered Niko not knowing about Reza. I honestly don't know about Reza...Niko didn't seem to know much, and we haven't gotten a causality list, not that I know of anything. It was a kinda quick report on the news. Deej replied to Abbi

Abbi was furious. How could they not make that a giant news story? Terrorist attacks on a school should have been--
No, no, she stopped herself. HK lived on Naboo, she remembered. News stations probably didn't cover other planet's disasters as much as their own sector's.
OK, I have really, really limited net connection right now... I might go as far to say that this is the last you'll see me until I can free myself from Landyn again.
--
She ran to Landyn's bedroom, shaking and hoping it was a dream. "Landyn, are you awake?" she whispered. She drew closer to the bed, barely perceptible in the night. "Landyn?"
She reached over and pulled back the covers to show a dead child, a hole in her temple and blood dropping on the sheets.
--
Her eyes teared up, but she continued to type. She told herself not to remember.
I need you to do me a favor and research it, okay? I'll be in your debt for a long time.
She waited for the obvious question--couldn't she just use her comlink to communicate? Deej was a smart dude, he'd figure it out sooner or later. She just didn't know if she had the heart to explain.

Deej blinked...maybe he had gotten too wrapped up in his paranoia. Maybe everyone was just fine, maybe Abbi was just fine. But still, there was this nagging feeling in him. And he knew Abbi. She often acted like everything was okay, and everyone knew she wouldn't want anyone to worry about her. Even when she was amnesiac after a speeder accident, she insisted on that.
Alright then...come back soon! Deej simply typed, not going to bluntly ask her if her family had been murdered

Abbi closed her eyes in frustation. I'm not leaving yet, she said. She knew what he was wondering. He was frantic about something, and she guessed what it was. Scary how close those murders are. I'm actually carrying around a knife now.
